Fresh from the gym at work.  Warm-up for kickboxing, heavy bag work for about 40 min, couldn't really get into it...so I did Deads instead.  Why wouldn't I?

Standing cable fly: 4x8@ 22.5…quick and easy? Weak and taxing is more like it.
Cool down: Removed shirt and did Wolverine(?) impression in mirrior (really makes my love handles pop!)

Not much to tell these days. Coming home from a week of booze and bug spray in Wisconsin. Tried to watch a charming albino on you-tube, but it’s so slow out here that the vids never fully loaded…it’s worse than not even having access!

Still trying to do some pics also. At my current condition, they’d make for decent “now” pictures. My neighbor is a photographer, then I could find a 6year old to help with the computer stuff…
Gotta check on the grill.

Nothing really to report, still recovering from my vacation (and an over-all sense of laziness). But…
I’ve been training my freind now for about two months (14 sessions) and things are going great! She has a natural ass-kicking way about her, and she’s really taken to the training very well. She lost 10 pounds, after giving up “sugar and sweets” for Lent, but didn’t really see a difference. Boring details aside, she’s eating about twice as much as before (clean of course), she’s lost ‘only’ another 9 pounds in two months but, has lost enough inches to fit into jeans from “30 lbs. ago”. I kept her off the scale this whole time, and she just couldn’t believe it when we checked her weight. Honestly, I was surprised as well! Hang on…

…being an idiot, I didn’t break out the tape measure. I will next week, after her vacation, before we start a longer plan of attack. She wont take pictures (I wont either), but might be convinced. Anyway, it’s a lot of fun for me. For her? Well…She likes the looks she gets when she trains at 24-fitness, so that’s something right? What? You’ve never seen alternating one-arm snatch and presses before???

Next up is Friday night, and I’m feeling a “how long will this last” kinda night. At least I know she’ll sleep well! Good times one and all.
