Ok I’ve seen all the articles on how to take slin. I’ve been on for 3 weeks taking 10ius post workout of humulin type r. And I’m losing weight not gaining any. I’m eating strict alot of protein and carbs after I inject. Any help would be awesome.

what is your idea of a lot?
In your case/thread post the following:
-age
-height
-waist
-weight before and after insulin
-describe body and facial hair
-describe where you carry fat and how changed
-health conditions, symptoms [history]
-Rx, OTC and other drugs, any hair loss drugs or prostate drugs list also
-are you losing more muscle or more fat?
list your meals and portions
Im eating 10 meals a day. When I inject the slin I have a carb protein shake immediately then an hour later 3 full chicken breasts with 2 cups of rice then an hour later the same thing then an hour later my final meal another protein shake. All together I get anywhere from 500 to 600 grams of protein a day. I’m 28 AND Im Also Taking Test 500 (1500mg) A Week AND Deca. No health issues. I store fat in obliques and stomach. I was 296 when I started now I’m 288. Not losing strength actually getting stronger and look thicker. Waist is 37 and I’m getting much more vascular.
Seriously does anyone have any advice of why this is happening? Should I change something or add something?
Dude are you loosing fat? That shouldn’t be a problem? You are not loosing strength, but your weight is going down This sounds possitive to me.
Yes I’m losing fat. I’m totally fine with that but from all the research I did it said I should gain weight.
Think that would be very dependent on your bf when starting the slin

I have a question, hopefullywalkaway can answer, I know little about insulin but ive always wondered, what are the chances of a bodybuilder who uses insulin to become dependent on it because the body will stop producing it? is it the same concept as using testosterone? Or is it different if you don’t inject slin every day?

Like all things, it is user-dependent. Some guys recover just fine from cycles, some don’t, and a select few are toast after just 1 cycle.
having said that, the chance of the body becoming dependent on insulin due to exogenous insulin usage is very slim. Ronnie Rockel is the only individual who I can think of who this has happened to.
Of course, Growth hormone greatly reduces insulin sensitivity as well, so couple high doses of GH everyday with high doses of insulin everyday, and eventually you could have a problem.
but keep a clean diet, train regularly, test your fasted blood sugar every couple weeks, and keep your insulin doses modest (10iu once a day won’t accomplish shit btw), and you shouldn’t have anything to worry about.
a guy on another board said that his doctor told him that you have to be running “80ius for a very long time in order to begin putting yourself at risk”
if you do one month on, and one month off of the 15iu x3 on training days protocol I mentioned (only do this of course if it fits your diet), you will be fine.

My next Time I use insulin I’m going with humalog. It will fit better with my diet and I’ll be able to do it more throughout the day. I know just doing it once a day wasn’t really working but regardless I lost weight got stronger and look a lot fuller. So just doing what I did worked in a way.
