Your rings would be better served at the local park or playground. In addition to varying heights from which you can suspend them, you can grab the attention of the local MILFS.

If you have a basement with an open ceiling, the best way is to rig them up in the floor joists. Easy and effective.

I had mine mounted in my garage at my old house. I picked up some screw in eyelets from the local hardware store and drilled them into the joists through the sheetrock (finished ceiling). Never had any issues.
