Sob440 is my training partner, he was referring to an inside joke…lol. We gotta give mad props to SOB440 who took 3rd overall in the mens lightweight open. He originally weighed near 260 about 3 or 4 weeks out from contest, busted his ass and got down to 231 for the weigh in.

As for the contest i am still waiting for NAS to post the official score card and write up on their website but the events were incline log press for reps, farmers, max axle clean and press, frame deadlift for reps, and stones.

They ended up scoring heavy weight and superheavy together for greater competition and ended up with about 10 guys total in the mens heavy/superheavy open. I ended up taking home gold winning 4/5 of the events. Big Mike Gill, another great amateur and ex bodybuilder, ended up taking home second overall and MASSIVE Paul Diantonio took home bronze.

What advice/articles/authors on this site helped you the most?
I mean, many people like T-Nation and use it improve their body, but only a few take it as far as you did.

so when you win something like this do you qualify for the worlds strongest man competition? Maybe we will get to see you on tv =]?
