Thanks man, yeah the fat loss around my midsection and sides has been pretty drastic. It’s nice to see results though.

Week 1 265 lbs
Week 12 235.5 lbs

Another Week 0 vs. Week 12
You can tell on this one my waist went from 42.5" to 37"

Awesome job dude. Keep it going!!!

Is there a deadline you’re up against?

Thanks Synergy,
Well the “Dud to Stud deal” went for 12 weeks with the goal of losing fat and maintaining muscle. I’m going to continue fatloss for an additional 3 or 4 weeks.

Nice job. How was your strength level throughout the 12 weeks? That’s the part the messes with my head whenever I try to diet.

Most exercises stayed the same or went up. Bench was the only thing that I can think of that suffered (I would guess my 5RM went down 10-20 lbs).

The slow controled weight loss, carb cycling and Josh Bryant’s programing all contributed to keeping muscle and strength up.

Thanks. That’s very encouraging to hear. I’m trying to get to 250-260 before I diet down. I’m going to keep this in mind when I take the plunge this winter.

Awesome transformation man. You can definetley see that you lost a good amount of fat around the midsection.

Sam goodluck on your goals and sucks to hear about your knee.

Thanks Johnman.

LOL,unfortunately I picked a so-so location for my weekly update pictures with really crappy lighting. But even with the bad lighting think it’s pretty clear.

starting/ ending weights?

Very very nice work. I think you should push it and get pretty lean, but that’s just me.

Nice work man…is your avatar pic current? You look a lot leaner in it than in the Week 12 pic–is that just the lighting?

lol, yeah I took the baseline picture in my basement with crappy lighting… My avatar is 1 or 2 weeks old and I have gotten significantly leaner since then.

 Thanks bug.

I’m going to continue working with Shelby and it looks like the current plan is keep getting lean for the next 3 or 4 weeks and then start a “lean gains” phase…
