Products that tout Casein proteins are a myth for the most part. But what about Metabolic Drive products that sell on T-Nation? The reason I ask is because I work out very late at night from 10 to midnight most of the time. Because it was so late I never ate after my routines!
I was told that was a serious flaw in my approach and that I should eat after my routines regardless of the time of day. But what do I eat that late at night seriously? He suggested to skip my evening meal and replace it a protien shake after my routines.
So my question to you all what would be a good way to get started with supplements? Would the Metabolic Drive product deliver what I need? What would you suggest and why.
Well post w/o Id actually look for something more along the lines of Surge or a Surge type beverage. Have that immediate PWO them sure Some Metabolic Drive or other whole food
Berardi doesnt like milk for 2 reason - Many people are lactose intolerant at SOME level, it might not be full blown but he thinks most people have some kind of reaction to it (I believe this is correct)… Also it is chock full of sugar. Not exactly bed time nutrition.
Berardi actually recommends Grow!, which is now known as Metabolic Drive.[/quote]
Chris good point! But I’m new to Body Building and weight training. I did not realize that “Low Carb Grow” was now known as Metabolic Drive! I guess I’ll have order some!
