Supp Suggestions for Offline P urchase

I just got back into the country (America) and want to get some decent protein powder with bcaa or seperate if need be. Do you all just go to GNC? I saw Costco has as well.

For those of you that aren’t ordering from a website where do you buy from and which one do you suggest?

I haven’t bought supplements in a store in years.

I use this site and another because it’s better quality stuff and/or cheaper than GNC ripoff prices

This.

For the quality, with the price, plus the shipping, there’s not a company I’d rather give my money to. You’ll thank yourself after you recieve your package in 3-4 days.

Especially if you get Metabolic Drive and the Surge products. I love that combination.

This site seems rather expensive when theres a health food store near me that sells 5lb containers of whey protein for $34.

Whats so special about the ones sold on T-Nation that they cost almost the same price and are only 2lb containers, plus I’d have to pay S&H.

And then what’s the difference between Grow! Whey and Metabolic Drive?

Thanks

Your 2nd question is your 1st clue. You don’t know the difference between the two shows that you need to do more research on your own

Shipping is free, and express at that. There’s a big difference between Metabolic Drive and Grow! Whey. Metabolic Drive is a sipping protein, Grow! Whey is a chugging protein (for me anyway).

Metabolic Drive Complete is priced so well at 22$ a tub you won’t find anything that compares for what it’s designed to do. The closest thing I’ve found is from one of those bulk protein shops and even then Metabolic Drive Complete is still cheaper serving for serving. Better quality also.

Whey digests fast. Good for Before/During/After your workouts. Not good to fill you up, satisfy hunger, and keep your body from feeding on your own muscle.

Casein digests slowly. Slower digesting protein prevents your body from breaking down muscle, and keeps you “full” longer. Not very good to feed the muscle and replenish glycogen though as it can take a long time to digest, therefore innefficiently supplying your body with the nutrients it needs immediately.

Metabolic Drive contains both proteins, therefore killing 2 birds with one stone. And they’re delicious.

Plus, they contain an assload of BCAA’s, and if you don’t know what they are, you need to do your homework.

You also need to factor in lactose content. Cheap-o protein powders MFG-ed by chain stores often contain a decent amount of lactose(milk sugars). And chances are that if you are indeed human, you will probably shit your way to the bathroom if you ingest it.
