If This Doesn't Impress, Nothing Will!

Making a joke that is that obvious isn’t really funny.

In an attempt to get this thread somewhat back on topic, does anyone have any idea how you would train for something like that? I would assume gymnastics but honestly have no idea.

I have no idea. I would assume the same thing, but I can’t be sure.

Our Kinesiology teacher showed this to us, CRAZY level of strength.

The leg curl at the end of this video is amazing.

He misses it in this performance. Crazy.

sick, and its not like they are small guys either, they look like they are at least 180-200lbs[/quote]

No fucking way. 130-150 tops. Gymnasts are tiny people. The only reason you think they are big is because there is nothing in the picture to compare them with. They are probably both not much more than 5’ tall.

I was incredibly impressed, but there are a couple parts there where it’s pretty gay, like near the beginning where there is a near 69 happening…but still good overall.

That part is what worries me. I can see the impressed part, but being spellbound to these two guys? Ewww.

The training is basically gymnastics. Those guys ARE gymnasts.
That is years and years of non stop training.
People who call that gay are fucking retards. Also, those guys are anywhere between 5 feet and 5’7. Not much more.

Also, ridiculous strength.

Yes it is basic gymnastics stuff. Jim from Beastskills (website) says it’s a combination of bodyweight strength training, acrobatics, and gymnastic skills. He’s a young (26) guy who is into these “skills” and shares his training and offers tutorials and such. He lifts too.
The archives (guts) of his site:

Two of my fave videos that impressed the hell out of me as did the one from this thread are below. Maybe not as impressive strengthwise but still…

I guess this is modern day break dancing?

Miss Pole Dance Australia 2006
She doesn’t just fling herself around the pole over and over. She turned it into an art and display of strength and I might even go so far as to say… elegance! : O

HOLY CRAP at the bboy one… I remember that guy from 3 years ago, when it was impressive enough that he did the pushups with only his hands on the ground… but all this new stuff is just diesel son

But haha, I’ve always wondered who that random guy next to him was… you know, the guy in the background who kind of just cheers and does really simple stuff, if you’re lucky.

According to their website, they’re about 200 lbs each. Do a search for extreme gymnastics. They could’ve (and have) dressed a little differently to make this less “gay.”

I found this video amazing.

I mean what must the pre-performance planning be like? The intensity of training, color coordinating of wardrobes, tanning, oiling, and meticulous removal of body hair is enough to bring a man to his knees.

I didn’t know you had to train cyborgs. I thought they just came pre-programmed.

But, in all seriousness, that was a ridiculous feat of strength by those two.
