freckleface; standard is 2 minutes. I got the longest of the group, 1:01 on my front and less than 30sec for each side. good news is, each side sucks equally!
[/quote]
I’ll take tortilla chips with white cheese queso any day… YUMMMMMM! =D
And Ahem… missy! You beat me on the front plank… but I got 32 and 39 on the side planks! BOO-YAH! (I mean seriously… Give me something bitch! You kicked my butt on pistols and overhead squats… (although I CAN do them with my heels elevated… stupid tight ankles!) I need something to feel good about myself!)
Nice workout… mine was kind of whatever tonight as well! Some pull throughs… negative chins with shoulder blades in my pockets =D And some GHRs (The MR way) and side planks… fun stuff! Can’t wait to compare programs!
BTW, how sad were you when you realized the Ifast email WASN’T your program? Sarah and I almost cried… =-/
LOVE YA!!!

no but seriously if i had feelings i would’ve thought about crying!! Excitement followed by, oh, ok.
and I could go back and edit my post to make it more clear- MY FRONT PLANK was the best of the group, but my side planks were less than 30sec.
yes, molly, you’re still a hardass.
You swore. You swore, in my log. You swore in public. Imma copy and paste this so i can quote u for evidence.
You said bitch.
muahahahaha!!!
I’ll also take this opportunity to tell everyone about some self restraint I had tonight.
Conversation between two other girls in the locker room, post sauna;
“It’s just so hard to come here after a whole day at work. Like, I just wanna go home and eat and read.”
“Oh my GAWD!! I know!”
that thing i didnt say? “What’s easier; Going home to eat and read, or looking at yourself naked in the mirror?”
I did, however, share my thought with my friend at the front desk, who laughed out loud.
I appreciate the self-restraint.
But jeez, Bear, some people lack our enthusiasm for looking at themselves in the mirror. Sometimes I envy my roommate, who just doesn’t care. She can actually focus on making the world safe for democracy and shit. She’s fine with never ever wearing shorts as long as she lives. I’m not sure which of us wins, in the end.

ok, ok, i kinda like you, so you get a serious response.
I don’t give a fair representation of myself on here.
I actually have a compulsive need to help people… it’s gotten me in trouble more often than not. I just don’t see the point in halfassing something. do it, or dont.
shorts- fuck em. im most comfy in jeans, a tank top, and flipflops. I rarely wear makeup or do (or wash) my hair. I can’t claim that I’m making the world safe for democracy, nor do i have a desire for something that noble.
I’d rather help injured people get back to normal and even better than pre-injury. PTA is the best combo of my love of lifting and the compulsive helping people thing.
As far as my love for the mirror, I could take it or leave it, just like my scale. When I do happen to see it, I want to like what’s looking back at me. The longer I pursue lifting, the more I like it.
oh okay I know you’re nice.
I do know you help people a lot.
And that was really funny.
Do have to argue about your choice of clothing. In the summertime I WIILL NOT WEAR PANTS. Skirts, dresses, or shorts. What’s the point of summer if you have to wear pants? Also Crocs > flip flops.
(I almost wrote Krocs. I’ve been corrupted.)

I beg to differ. Your commitment to helping others comes across loud and clear “on here”. Granted the delivery of this is done in an entertaining and unique way, but the wrapping can’t obscure the present underneath.
I am halfway between Alisa (thumbs up to shorts) and CBear (thumbs down to shorts). My favorite warm weather choice are capris. And, I only own one skirt and that’s for work.
if you got it flaunt it! I’m gonna be wearing daisy dukes, j/k!!! I couldn’t believe how short the shorts got last summer though, yikes!
I figure if cbear starts posting on your log, then she sorta likes you and sorta cares…
and you sorta don’t suck cbear! ![]()

Heh heh. Crocs are hideous but I wear them to amusement parks - they’re ideal for water rides because they drain and you’re not left with soggy trainers for the rest of the day (plus they don’t fall off like flip flops). I spent pretty much my entire Japan/Korea trip wearing them and my heels were a cracked, dirty mess by the time I got home.
I favour capris as well - they cover a multitude of sins while leaving my bull calves on view. Win.
I’m going to assume that the ladies in favor of shorts have never had to deal with the entire top half of their legs touching unless they were crossed. I suppose I would like them too if I didn’t have such huge legs and a hungry butt.
Black yoga pants ftw.
And, whoever it was that came up with Crocs needs to get the rusty, barbed wire dildo.
Oh, I have big legs … just no modesty.
Alisa, if you have big legs, then what the heck do the rest of us have?!

I have strong feelings toward crocs.
x2 on the big legs/shorts argument. I’m definitely ok with a miniskirt, as I’m overcoming this debilitating shyness I have. I just cant stand my legs rubbing together while some of it is skin to skin and some is skin to fabric and some is fabric to fabric. YUCK!! gym shorts are ok, bc they’re usually looser and elastic waistbanded.
That’s my problem. I have 25" thighs and not only do I store fat on my inner thigh but I am also knock-kneed, so even if I got drastic liposuction, they would still rub together.
I live in yoga pants, pretty much.
So, I got my program from MR.
Before you get all excited, I have a speech, but it’s not organized.
I won’t share my program. Not in its entirety.
For a few reasons.
1)I know this doesnt apply to everyone, but; Some assholes out there are dumb enough to forget that this was an individual assessment, and that not everyone has the same problems I do.
2)While I do have some common issues, (weak abs/glutes, tight hips) the severity/ m.o. for correction may be different for someone else.
3)He gets paid to do this, ffs. It’d feel like stealing from him if I shared the whole thing.
I will post main lifts, shit I’m proud of, videos, etc.
anyway.
I’m completely fucking excited!! I’ll still be lifting 4 days/week, and this’ll be for about a month. WoooHOOOOO!!!

AH SHIT!!!
throws down readily poised pen in disgust
I can respect that. There are ample articles on how to fix underactive glutes/shitty posture/dodgy ankles etc etc if people care enough to look. Must admit I wish there had been teh Internets when I first started lifting - I had to get all my info from Flex and Musclemag and it was rarely about injury stuff, so I had no idea my computer gaming posture plus constant heavy benching was killing my shoulders until I blew out my right rotator cuff. Which still haunts me, 18 years later, btw.
hehe, I didnt have the internets either!
just watching people, reading mags…
thinking back tho, I think I was doing total body workouts 6 days a week! oi.
