Icarian/Precor Bench?

Just wondering if anyone had used one of these.
Considering buying it used for my home gym, but I’ve never used one and it’s a hike for me so if I can find out if it’s worth my time, ahead of time, I can possibly save some gas $.
Price is $400.

It’s an Icarian/Precor flat-to-90 adjustable bench.

So has anyone used one, and if so, what was your impression of it? Worth the $400?

That’s what I have in my gym. It works fine. I think they’re around $800 new, and you can get a brand new Precor home model for $300 on Amazon. Makes me think $400 is a lot for a used bench.

I see what you’re saying, but the one you posted is a residential piece. The one I posted is this one:

And it;s a commercial piece. I’d rather pay for quality once than buy crap twice.

My other concern is that it’s a huge pet peeve of mine when the bench wobbles, so I’m hoping this one is pretty solid.

I have a similar model (from an unknown company) that I bought new back in 1988… for $110.

Still in excellent shape with tiny minor rips on the corners of the upholstery.

My old gym had one of these. I thought it was great for doing presses. I love the adjustments and it never broke down. Would be a great feature to a home gym. Makes me jealous. Accept that price is a bit high.

You won’t be disappointed. You can’t go wrong with Icarian. I thought $400 was a bit high, but $300 sounds much better.
