Wow, yesterday was one hell of a day. A little peyote goes a long way. Anyways, I’m recouping today, laying around and being lazy. I did go to the grocery store and bought a bunch of steaks. I’m gonna go for a lower carb diet than what I have been doing the last week.
Uhhh, I really don’t have much else to say right now. Later

Well this is awww inspiring…
Hanging around and being lazy is what got you into the predicament your in Bud!
At this point it seems like those posting in your thread are more focused on your Goals than you are!
as a fellow fat lazy bastard i gotta tell you that the main difference between us is that i saw the light a bit earlier didnt do drugs and didnt pick as snappy a thread title.
Mate I have been doing the same thing as you eating good for two or three days and then eating crap for the rest of the week getting depressed and whining to myself and everyone else.
Buck up.
Just like i pushed all the shit down my throat you pushed it down yours. If you eat healthy, great good work, if you dont fuck it, try again tomorow. Dont give up keep trying. Watch rocky 6 listen to him talk about getting up after a knock down, you gotta get yourself up.
There is an Atomic Dog i found on here that Chris Shugart wrote about a guy called bob. identify with bob get all pissed and go work out. thats what i did, i printed that article and im reading it a few times a day just to remind me what people really think under their nice words and helpful advice, that im “a pathetic piece of shit who needs to grow a spine and join a gym”, in quotation marks because its a quote.
i printed it out to keep a fire in my belly and i suggest untill you get the hang of things you find that article or one like it that really hurts and offends you and you print it out and read it again and again so that your every lift can be fueld by a desire to be what you want to be not to be what people think that you are.
Take care mate
Best of luck with your endevours i hope to see you succeed just as much as everyone else does.
No troll, just a regular guy who had a bad couple of days. Damn, some of ya’ll are harsh, but at the same time, it’s the kind of no-bullshit talk that actually gets through to me.
The weekend is over, and I’m back on track starting NOW, don’t give up on me yet.
Mate giving up on you would be the same as giving up on myself, and i hope to christ that i dont do that. i was just corelating our situations.
i hope you find your drive, whatever that thing is that makes you want to train and eat right all the time. im still flailing but im going to get there and so are you.
all we have to do is stop talking and start working
I try to be very supportive of those who want to change their situation by getting help from others in order to help themselves. In fact I too am in a similar situation of wanting to lose weight, and have the support of people hear in T-Nation, but I’ve already shared that with you. Your thread started out fantastic, you received tremendous support from literally dozens of T-Nation folks, and yet you don’t appreciate it, you don’t do jack shit but “laying around and being lazy” well what the fuck!
We all have bad days, but they are not usually strung out over several days, unless your strung out. And if you are then you need to get help, and your weight should take a back seat to this situation. If your just being lazy, and undissaplined, then you need to come in here and let people know you’re following another direction before you get started and you’ll come back when you are more focused and actually going to do what you say you’re going to do.
Either way, if you have any character you need to come clean.

I showed my character when I posted a picture of myself at 340 pounds. I showed I was serious about getting healthy and losing weight when I posted a picture of myself at 340 pounds.
You have the audacity to get pissy with me because I’m struggling? I’ve only been doing this a week. Get off your throne of righteousness.
IMO you need to join a program or something, because I don’t think you’re strong enough to do this on your own. You have too much on your plate right now.

I already said in a prior post that I was back on track, then sailorchris came in with the question of character. That’s when I responded with the “audacity” comment. I’ve been back on track with my diet all day today. End of subject.

Posting a picture has nothing to due with being serious, being serious is not falling off the fuckin wagon before the end of the first week. Are you that weak!
Theres no righteousness here…just being honest. Pissy, you want to see pissy…grow some fucking balls and be a man and deal with your issues.
Since you’re back on track; you mentioned going on a lower carb diet than originally planned. Mind sharing some details? Prove to us that you really have a plan and motivation right now.
Someone on another string mentioned burpees which got me thinking about when I was in the military, we would do 1x100 8-count body builders every Friday morning (it’s harder than it sounds). I think this would be a good initial goal to reach.
My plan is as follows:
1 - I am going to do 8-counts every day, adding one a day, for 100 days. In the end, I should be able to have the cardio to complete all of them.
2 - I figure a low carb diet is what is needed. Basically, there’s too much information in my head right now, so I’m just going simple and eating meat. I bought a bunch of steaks and will be sticking with this diet through the 1x100.
After 100 days, I’ll re-evaluate and see where I need to go from there.
Since I posted my pic, I think the people who are giving advice should do the same.
Don’t forget green vegetables with all that meat, your digestive system will thank you. But what about when the cravings hit? You know they’re gonna hit. IMO you need something else for breakfast at least.
Anyway, the burpee thing sounds good. Keep posting a daily log here. And if you stray again we’re gonna have to photoshop you like we did EliteBalla, you have been warned.
As for photos, mine are in my profile. They’re about 3 weeks old and there are no before/afters, but at least it’s something. Don’t look now if you’re hungry, because there’s pictures of food in there too, hehe. Low carb works wonders for me, but also the whole “clean up” thing really.
Good to hear you’re back, but just remember actions speak louder than words!
Don’t allow our criticisms to deter you from being honest on this post. Most people are too scared to cast a critical eye upon themselves, but being open and honest with oneself is the only way to experience any growth!
Start posting Daily food logs and counting your macros, you’ll be amazed at what you’ll learn about you’re ACTUAL consumption!
maybe im just a dumb aussie but i have no idea what the hell an eight count is?
is it a burpe with a star jump thrown in just for shits n giggles?
also mate i dont want to be a prick but a hundred burpees is a massive strain on your vascular and neuralogical system. one of the reasons that they work so well is they force your body to work very hard because the movements have you working in two planes of motion.
i think your goal is admirable, i hope you achieve it. in your own best interests i would suggest you see a doctor before trying it out. your a big man and your body just wasnt designed to take that kind of punishment.
oh and the photo thing, not going to happen right now, poss in a few weeks when i have something to compare with but right now im agine me as you with pretier eyes and an aussie accent. if my not having a phot makes my advice less valid than those who do have photos just let me know and ill wish you luck and wave goodbye.
good luck bruno, remember just like captain planet said the power is in your hands.

I talked to my sponsor yesterday and I’m back on track. A couple of my posts this past weekend were versions of me “drunk dialing”, so to speak.
Anyways, I’m back on track now, with the diet and everything else, so let’s all look forward. Thanks[/quote]
All is good then keep it moving forward. One day at a time!
