I’m kind of the same, I go in knowing what group day it is, and I have a pretty general idea of what exercises I will be using, but whether or not I go like really heavy with singles/doubles/triple, or stick with something like 5-8s all depends on feel as I hit the warmups.

Also sometimes you just feel like you can throw in another movement at the end, despite busting your ass on the ones you had planned on.

I can’t actually say if this is a good thing or not, clearly there are people that have set programs and stick to it and progress very well, I just feel like my day-day energy determines so much more than a piece of paper and a calculator can tell me.
