I just watched it… It has made me seriously think about my previous stand point on the use of steroids… I was previously against but I can’t say I am now, I don’t think I’ll be using though.[/quote]

Bruce Lee used Anavar & Deca…

Psych! Just messin wif’ ya’!..

I just rented the movie last night, glad to see the positives come out and it angers me that congressmen have no idea about steroids and have hearings to ban them.

Did you rent this from Blockbuster? I’ve been wanting to see this for a long time, but it never showed on any screens close enough to my house.

Yes, blockbuster has it. Mine just had 1 dvd of it. 9/30 was the dvd release date.

Need to buy it tomorrow.

It had some flaws but I think it did a good job of catering towards an audience that will not be educated about the topic (money) while keeping the interest for those of us who do.

“What are you going to do, ban peanuts and sue God?”

Yes, BIGGER, STRONGER, FASTER* was released on DVD yesterday. It should be available at major retail chains including Best Buy, Target, Amazon.com and many others.

You can also rent it from the major rental houses including Netflix, Hollywood Video and Blockbuster.

It’s got a 97% on rottentomatoes.com making it one of the best reviewed movies of the year: Bigger, Stronger, Faster - Rotten Tomatoes

is this worth buying on DVD or renting?

Yea its worth renting. Its really interesting. It has some great interviews. I’ve watched it twice.

i meant is it worth buying or should I just rent it

I have been waiting a really long time for this and you are making it really hard for me to obtain a copy. Just kidding, guys. Thanks for the heads up on where to find it.

I intended on buying it even though I haven’t seen it, but both stores I went to had either sold out already or were out of stock. I was able rent a copy though, but I’m saving it to watch this weekend.

I’ll be buying it, but haven’t had a chance to go to a store for a couple days. I’m in no hurry, might just order it.

I just finished watching this documentary.

Man Congress pisses me off! When you hear they spent more time on the stupid baseball steroid fiasco than they did on the Katrina and Energy disasters that chaps my hide! That is soooo emblematic of what is wrong with things. Priorities are so fucked up.

Also, if I have MS, aids or surgery, I want steroids. It makes no sense that I should be under a cloud if there is something available that will assist me in recovery or just general health.

and again… why can’t I just try something to see where I can take myself? Make it something available more easily under an informed physician.

I don’t want man jaw or creepy voice or they hair, but it doesn’t mean I might not want to try something.

Really interesting movie. That bull was AMAZING. Like that whippet that TC had in his article.

What’s worse is that there are ‘legal’ drugs doctors will freely prescribe that are far worse for you. I’ve twice been given prednisone back when I was having sinus issues just to see if it would help. Neither time it did and the side effects were worse than the original symptoms and took me weeks to recover from.

I just finished it too.

I used to be against steroids hardcore before this site, and over the last few months that’s changed some. The movie just furthered opened my eyes.

It really is sad how clueless people are, me being one in the past.

My GF said she liked how it showed both sides.

Good point. I had a cracked tooth pulled and the dentist prescribed Percocet to me! 30 PILLS! now… true I am a total wuss when it comes to dental work, but I thought that was a little bit over the top.

I also thought it was interesting when that Doctor was talking about the effects of Vitamin “C” abuse.

Yeah, some of that stuff was surprising to hear. I said this in the movies thread, but I think that movie should be required viewing for anyone ignorant or in the dark about steroids. A lot of what is in that movie is preaching to the choir for many here, but it’s still worth watching again and again.

and speaking about the choir! how about how easy it was for those musicians to get beta blockers!

crazy… just crazy

see… when I see things like this it shows the prejudice, ignorance and also the manipulations behind some of our regulations and laws.

what a bunch of smoke and mirrors

congress sucks, they ignore their own experts and get draconian for “our own good”
