here are my issues:
The OP is a little off. Something about the post just doesnt seem right. I mean honestly go re read it and tell me if it seems legit.
The reason I dont think it is legit is the fact that the OP is bothered by a much smaller, much weaker person dissing his physique. He said he was ex military along with a lot of the other guys and you cant get by in the military without having thick skin and being able to take and dish out insults. Its just what happens. I just see a lot of things in his post that dont add up. Then he only responds to this thread one more time and its up to 5 pages now? Hmmmmm seems a little fishy to me

It’s not about how big/little the guy is, its about the insecure mentality, thats why there is so much carry over to things such as academics etc. I’m sure the OP has thick skin, he just sounds annoyed with these little twerps and their one-upsmanship.
I said ealier that i ran into this type of shit ~2 weeks ago. This dude was a friend of a firend of mine (assumed he’d be cool), turns out he was a douchebag supreme. We were talking about school. Im studying to be an engineer (going into my 5th yr) and he is just starting his mass comm. degree which they DO give out in cereal boxes (they require you to get a minor its such a weak degree). I was talking about how I wasn’t concerned about my mediocre GPA cause my personality will get me the job, and I’ve NEVER been a stellar student (grade-wise, the effort has ALWAYS been there). After this he starts talking about how hes a “self-made man” and hes gonna be rich no matter what. “I know how to spend my money to make it look like i have moree money than i do”, he was talking about how he was test driving maserattis the other day and “whenever there is a financial trnsaction, I ALWAYS come out ahead”. I was nodding and smiling the whole time, being thouroughly impressed the whole time . Then he says, “yeah i dunno how yer gonna get a job when theres people like me who are ambitious AND have good grades” (hes just starting school), so I say “lucky for me theres only one of you” DING DING DING we have a winner. I made him feel good about himself, while i felt GREAT about myself. The rest of the night was more of the same. Layer by layer i began to see through him. I say this cause it was NOT based on physique or bodybuilding or anything like that (was never mentioned) but on general insecurities, the OP ran into someone a lot like this who but his was a little more relevant to this website.

Employers arent going to ask you what your GPA was in college. If you graduate and get your degree thats all that matters man.

This is a legit post. No my account wasnt hacked. I do have to eat, train and work. I started this thread because I was a little pissed at the fact that I couldnt do anything to the guy. In the military you just tell the guy to meet you around back and whoever comes back in one piece is the one who got his point across. It is not like that in the civilian world.
