I have only 2 abs! How to show the rest?

I have only 2 abs!

I am 8% BF (even tho it could look more, I’ve tested with a professional).

I would like to have my abs to show on the full body!
How could it be possible?

Thanks!

You need to lose more fat.
Not sure I agree with the 8%
You could post a better pic.

How did the “professional” determine you are 8% bf?
What method did you use?

Current height and Bw?

I’m thinking the same thing. He is over 10%(possibly over 12%) for sure judging by the not so great pic he posted.

I agree. Definitely not in single digits judging by the pic.

First you are NOT 8% but that’s not even the point I’m going to make. As your current BF level, whatever that is, you are lean enough that you could see all of them if you were genetically prone to carry less fat in the layer above your abdominal muscle. Some people get abs easier than others. Based on your genetics you will need to lose more overall BF.

I refuse to believe this is something other than a troll post.

Do some fuckin crunches or something. Add more muscle onto your frame.

This is 9.2%, for the record.

My gut is telling me (pun intended) you are not 8% and that your “professional” used an eyecrometer.

Well far from me too stir the pot…

But the Op has stated in the past he is…

165cm / 5’4 @ 55kg/ 121 lbs.

Do with the information as you see fit.

Measured percent body fat is just a number. If the number doesn’t correspond to the mirror (or pic), can you place any confidence in the number.

You stated “with a professional.” Are we to infer, by professional, you mean that the person gets paid for measuring percent body fat? Does he happen to reveal how precise the measurement is, as by saying something like, plus or minus 2%? Or are you led to believe the measurement is very close to your actually percent body fat, as in less than 9% and greater than 7%.

My best advice is to not invest in percent body fat measurements to determine any decision about your body composition. You can always best determine your muscle definition in the mirror. In your case, do I see separation in my abs?

The next aspect to consider concerning ab definition, is how is the rest of the definition in your body? A person can achieve a high level of definition throughout their body, and yet have “hidden” abs. Boyer Coe is an excellent example of this. Some people have a thicker sheath that covers the abdominal muscles. For them getting visible abs is a real challenge. But don’t assume you are one of those individuals, at least, until you are “ripped” throughout your body and your abs still seem covered, or hidden.

There is something that should be high on your list of objectives. Train your abs for hypertrophy. Get your abs thicker. Train them both heavy lower reps and lighter higher reps trying to feel your abs contract. Try to concentrate on contracting your abs and not just relying on your hip flexors to do the work.

When are just standing around throughout the day, place your finger tips lightly on your abs and flex them, using your finger tips to search for the vertical valley (linea alba) that separates the left side abs from the right side abs. You might need to try different flexing to find the deepest valley.
