Great training OG. I like your cement block carries. You should try stone carries. I’m sure you have a ton of rocks down there in MA like we do in NH. Bear hug the thing and start walking.
The homemade impliments are so much fun. I’ve done what I call ghetto farmers walk using 45’s and walked 80yrds or so, that’s a forearm nightmare. Good stuff OG.
Thanks Joe…I keep doing them but its the one workout I do not look forward to.
Steve- Thanks brother, Stones yes we have plenty available…the question is do I have stones to do the work!
Totally agree DDAY, slosh pipe, tires, cinder blocks, all good stuff and adds a great variety plus being outside is just so much better…thanks for dropping by.
Question for the Strong and Wise: I am looking for program to start in August to run my Incline BP ( paused)from 215 to 245. Anybody have something that worked well for them or any advice at all? Thanks in advance.

Do you train in the morning? Just noticed your last two posts were really early.

I do, i get up at 4;20 and I am in the gym about 4:50AM…then I head home to take care of my dogs ( I post while my dogs eat breakfast)and hit shower and head to work…its obviously not an ideal time to lift, but its what works for my work/family/sports/life schedule.

Hot and sticky…dogs doing nothing but pant…
weighed in at a THUNDEROUS 174 this AM!

Are you trying to gain weight or are you happy as you are? just wondering.
Definitely a “design fault” in dogs, only being able to pant. I guess it was adequate when they were wolves in the north, but not now they live all around the world in hot places. It was one of our biggest concerns, how we were going to keep our dog cool in the van when we were travelling in hot countries.

Do your dogs like the water?[/quote]
Dogs love water everytime they escape the prison they end up in a bog or in swamp water…they come home covered in muddy stink from head to toe…hoorah for me! We have a pool but it has liner so I am terrified if they go in and rip it…its another 7 grand!
Simple answer to the weight question: yeah I am totally fine with being 175ish…the truth is I am just not an eater and could never stay with an eating bulking gig long enough for it to pay off…plus if I gained more than 10lbs my suits and dress shirts wouldn’t fit and that would be another 5 or 6 grand!!!
Plus in my mind, I have not maxed out my frame as is…I know I can be stronger at 175 than I currently am.
Canada K…my apologies thought you were in the 180’s
5 min Tmill ( sleep walking), foam, mob work 10 min
Incline BP ( paused) without a plan

Not paused : 225, 230, 235 ( PR+5Lbs)…pretty good bar speed, I have def have 240 or 245 need a spot though for safety sake…felt like going home so I wouldnt ruin the morning but couldn’t bring myself to it

Yonkey and Joe- Thanks, I greatly appreciate the support. It was one of those days that just happened. Wasn’t planning on a max or PR attempt it just rolled on its own.
Yonkey, yup I hit the gym around 4:50am…only time I can be consistent.
Oh brother, what in God’s name is the reason that someone gets up at 4:20 to go do complexes? I know because he is a dumbass old goat who is trying to beat back Father Time…note to self…its really not working! Tomorrow I turn 51…but remember kids its not the years its the miles that get ya!
