Hello, anybody home? The Old Goat returneth!!
Tomorrow concludes the work chaos and life will hopefully resume its normal course. After 7 + weeks off from lifting I plan on going back into the gym Monday and do the deload from my last cycle minus 10-15% to give my joints and tendons a wake-up call before kicking off May with a new cycle!
But before that, I plan on planting my skinny little ass down out back of my shack and hammering a few frosties, take a nice long, fast motorcycle ride (before the frosties) and watch my kids play lacrosse on Sat and Sunday! Probably try and sneak in a goat nap or two as well…
I will get caught up with everyone’s logs over the weekend. Although I did see Strick’s year 1 numbers and fell out of my chair…that boy made tremendous progress in fact the guy who looks at me in the mirror every morning called me whimp and slacker as a result…

First day back…Felt good!..who am I kidding…Deads: can someone please tell me if 135lbs is the new 270? Crap, that bar was heavy…just following a deload from last cycle to get the body re-primed for workloads next week. BP tomorrow…man I sure hope that bar gets lighter while I am sleeping tonight!!

If your bar hasn’t been working out either, it likely has gained weight. Get that thing on a diet and some cardio. It’ll feel normal in a week or so.

I’ve read there are some parts of MA with distorted gravity fields. Must be in your town. Were you over at UMASS this weekend with your kids for the lacrosse jamboree?? It was packed. I was told the were 102 teams.

No wasn’t there. My kids are in HS now, but I used to coach for about 8 years both boys and girls teams and we used to go that tournament every year. Fun stuff…when you mentioned the tournament in your log I figured that might be the place you heading to at 4;30am…

Good morning Gents and yes ISO is my 2nd favorite form of torture, right behind being drawn and quartered.
