This time of year is awesome. Few things better than getting after it outside from predawn-early afternoon, coming home to a house that smells of pot roast, and just lounging on the couch the rest of the day watching CFB/NFL/MLB.

Yes.

Exactly. ā€œUm yeahā€

Sincerely believe to each their own, but I’ve read this chapter before

Agreed until the disconnect. Go live. I don’t understand watching others do it instead.

Free tip, it’s dangerous but motorcycles will improve your temperate weather seasons.

Not but they’re living. And not vicariously. Get yourself an AMG or M series. You are moto gp.

Me too.

Many times in fact.

Took me a few re-reads to ā€œget itā€

Same here. And I work and have degrees in nutrition. What I’ve recently concluded after watching some content of carnivore dieters is that some are brutally neurotic. The carnivore diet is also spoken of as yet another diet that relieves adherents of all that ailed them. While I don’t disbelieve that changes in diets do relieve ailments, I’ve repeatedly heard this story about other trendy diets before.

I want to try the diet for experimentation.

It’s worth experimenting for sure. A lot to be learned no matter the outcome.

Yes. It seems convenient too. Just prepare large amounts of eggs and preferred meats for the week and you’re good to go.

I think it’s the same symptom as every new ā€œmagic bulletā€ supplement/diet/routine/etcetera.

People get excited for advertised potential, but the lead is often unfortunately buried from the beginning in the fitness world.

Like every extreme diet before it, initial results will be achieved and then eventually long term, down stream effects will surface.

One of carnivore’s primary proponents has already changed course after suffering cardiovascular issues.

Yup, and along with this, once fat adaptation occurs, it’s pretty easy to ā€œskipā€ meals. Lunch really doesn’t need to be a thing any more.

Being a fan or professional sports teams. I watch and enjoy sports, but I don’t understand the appeal of being dedicated to one group of well-paid professionals over another. The things they do are often very impressive and can be entertaining. But when the game is over, turn it off and live your life. Fantasy sports is DnD for jocks.

I find the games are more compelling to watch when I have someone I want to win, rather than just trying to appreciate a good game for what it is.

Similar to how, when I read a book or watch a movie, there tends to be someone I am rooting for.

I always pick someone I want to win when watching sports. I just don’t require continuity or deep thought in my choices.

If citrus juices, sugar, olive oil, tomato, and herbs, vinegar are used for marination it’s not carnivore. Stuck with salt. :flushed:

I’m making an official ruling that if the meat source ate it, it is allowed under the rules.

That’s mentally unsustainable
