Im with you on a good amount of it though. I like instrumental music too, but can enjoy the singing as its own thingā¦ I often find that while I might intuitively know the lyrics to something I almost never know what a song is āaboutā, and have a hard time recalling them if I actually try to think of them outside the listening experience, so maybe I find it more an instrument than I realize
Parties I dont mind as long as the ability to actually hang out is thereā¦ Music so loud that you cant talk? I cant see the appeal in that.

You guys, on the makeup at the gym thing, yāall need to consider what she has to do after the gym.
When I was in my 20s, I had to squeeze in workouts before substitute teaching jobs, and depending on what town it was in, there was usually zero time to shower in between. So as gross as it was to towel off and go, thatās what had to happen.
These days, if I have a dental appointment or something else that needs to happen right after a workout, you bet Iāll wear makeup. FULL FACE. And I love how irritating that is to other women. But thatās a them-problem because my perfect eyebrows arenāt hurting anyone else.
So, what āI donāt get, but okayā is why anyone would care about someoneās makeup.
Back in the day, I always went to the gym without combing my hair, using deodorant, brushing my teeth, or washing my clothes. I didnāt want anyone to think I wasnāt serious about training and had a life outside of the gym.
Celebrity worship. I like certain artists and actors too, but some folks seem to revolve their lives around their favorites and actually let them dictate their opinions. Theyāre just people. Well, not counting the lizard-people.
My only thing with it was the time it took. Like 2 hrs. of making sure everything was perfect.
Well, not the only thing. She was a great looking woman without the makeup, but she struggled (and lost) with self image/being good enough issues. It was terribly ironic. Way beyond feeling comfortable with presenting oneself.
