I Do What I Want 2010

I may need a volunteer to test your bedroom hypothesis…hahaha. Sorry if I missed them but what are your goals for 2010

i’ll get the word out ur taking applications.

good question. haven’t really thought about it. trying to get this form thing figured out and maybe nail down having visible abs or at least a flat (winkless) tummy, before i really decide what kind of strength goals i’m chasin. that could change anytime tho. haha estrogen.

ran errands this morning and forgot to eat prior… so today’s workout is brought to you by a quickly grubbed orange and yogurt cup.

also did today’s workout in street clothes cuz i was too lazy to change and new i wouldn’t sweat. jeans, skate shoes, a normal bra, etc. simply gangsta.

FF-C2

shoulder circuit, foam rolling
bench press: 55 x 10; 75 x 8; 80 x 3; 90 x 3; 105 x 10 (no spotter)
bench press: 85 x 10, 10, 10, 10, 10
kroc rows: 55 x 18L/18R, 18L/18R, 18L/18R
foam rolling, hip mobility junk

i was planning on doing less weight on the accessory work… but the first set at 85 felt so easy i just stuck with it.

having a super hard beer craving today. windy, rainy outdoors + no work + nfl playoffs on tv + a beer fridge chock full of cold ones = one tempted deja. immah have to go stare at bobbi’s ab shot to remind myself why i can’t indulge today.

I’ve been debating gym or football and you just sealed the deal, I’m skipping the gym.

Instead, I’m going to get a biiiiig double cheese w/ grilled mushrooms mmmmmmmm.

That workout was brought to us only by an orange and yogurt cup??? Way to be efficient. Also bbb bench @85lbs is a great effort!

benching in street clothes - very ganster. By spring I should by able to bench the big plates and I swear I will walk in the gym drop a set at 135lbs in my jeans and leave just for the fuck of it, at 6pm.

Haha! I love when people workout in their street clothes, it is totally gansta!

105 on the bench press is impressive.

bobbi i drooled. ya bitch.

thanks owlie. yeah and yesterday was low carb/lowish cal day. so that was on very little energy. my mistake for not eating before i left the house.

nlmain - i seriously lol’d. haha

thanks masch… i’m happy with the 10 reps since i didn’t have a spotter and very little energy.

decided to get in some conditioning during halftime so i could get my mind off dirty food and beer.

went with the bear. decided to use 10 lbs more than half my bw. didn’t intend to do it for time… but after the first 4 sets i decided i’d just go for 25 for time. that’ll give me something to improve on and help make conditioning a little fun.

this was one of the hardest things i’ve done in a loooong time.

the bear (hang clean/front squat/push press/back squat/push press combo): 75 x 5, 4, 4, 3, 3, 3, 3 (18:05)

time for food and the end of the game.

i should get my ass up and go to the garage and do some bear. but i doubt i will :frowning:

way to avoid the dirty food AND the beer!

Now, that’s dedication.

I think both of you should do the bear. Garage, outside, wherever. 'sok, bear is versatile like that.

can i watch???

doood…how in the hell did i never once giggle about “doing the bear” last night? doh!

i always knew u’d hurt.

so what do you normally eat pre workout?

ummm usually i’ll wake up and have a couple coffees. then i’ll eat something fat/protein so eggs and cheese or meat or whatever.

then a couple hours later i’ll have a carb/prot meal. i don’t really eat oats or i would have those here. so often it’s like potatoes and meat, or an english muffin and a protein drink, or whatever. i don’t worry about what kind of carbs since i’m using them simply for workout energy. after i eat i sip a diet pepsi… and then hit the workout.

xtend/glutamine/creatine during the workout.

carbs/protein after… and then again another couple hours later. then i taper off the carbs the rest of the day.

when i’m trying to lose fat i’ll use the pre/post workout window… especially on squat and dead days… to eat any junky carby things i’ve been craving.

ya, me too…

Now I want to do the bear!

Everyone wants to do the bear!

deja, good job staying away (mostly) from the beer. I heart your bench press.

Does the bear make you sore? Complexes like that make me brutally sore…

Also glad you liked the acting prowess… hahahaha
