I Do What I Want 2010

ff- i knew just what you meant with the wheat like pretzel post… but then got a bit confused when u tried to explain it. haha

Does the bear make you sore? Complexes like that make me brutally sore…

Also glad you liked the acting prowess… hahahaha[/quote]

my traps got pretty sore… hang cleans always do that though. especially cuz i neglect them most of the time.

my arms are sore too… but that’s more from the INSANE pressing volume i had that day with the bear and it being bench day.

yeah i was lookin for ya on the golden globes last night. =+P

yesterday was low carb/low cal day. (1370 calories - 48/134/74/0 - (%'s = 13/39/48/0) - c/p/f/a)… i’m doing a couple low days like this… but i’ll more than make up for them on my couple of high days a week.

i’m excited to eat a bit more today and dig into some fruit.

went to brew coffee this morning and discovered we are OUT of filters.

yesterday i tried cottage cheese with a few peices of bacon crumbled in it. omg. amazing!

today is squat day… but it’s pouring and super windy out there. since i can’t get in the rack and won’t have a spotter… i’ll probably just do some really light normal squats and then do a bunch of unilateral stuff.

i’m bummed cuz i was really hoping to do some anderson squats today. oh well.

i like how you put alcohol in your daily breakdown.
Also quit yelling at me, you eat less than I do.
Anderson squats? as in “Goodbye, Mr. Anderson”?

As in Paul Anderson one of the strongest men to ever walk the earth
http://www.cbass.com/ANDERSON.HTM

he used to squat starting from the bottom. Only concerntric as part of his training. You can do it off pins in the rack or from chains.
Anderson squats are good because u can lift heavy and it doesn’t beat you up as much because there is no lowering of the bar.

Wow, sorry to be flippant. He sounds incredible.
And that sounds like an interesting exercise.

That’s ok I thought it was funny

haha yeah if i don’t i’ll pretend it’s calorie free.

A. you said ur goal was to gain strength… my goal right now is fat loss.

B. that was a low day and part of my weekly nutrition plan. the week also includes two high days for glycogen repletion and overall metabolism reasons; and three medium days just under maintenance calories.

i have never not wanted to work out as bad as i didn’t want to workout today. it took me about 5 hours of yelling at myself to actually get started.

might have something to do with not having any coffee this morning. that combined with low carbs…and my energy was a bit zapped.

regardless… i made it up there and hammered mah legs a bit.

Five hours of yelling? That’s persistence right there. I usually give up after an hour and come up with a rationalization. I’m impressed!

So impressed with the step-ups. I’ve always been terrified of falling.

those are some heavy ass step ups

you should have yelled louder, maybe i could have heard it up here. life aside from training happened for me today, no lifting. but i intend to punish myself in the best way tomorrow to make up.

solid lifting deja. that’s awesome you overcame and went in…high-five

i hope you are on high ground with all the rain coming our way for the rest of the week.

damn nice stepups. best i ever managed was 110, but i was using db’s and couldnt hold on for very long!

note to self. more grip work

you must have buns of steel!

sore buns… that’s for sure.

yeah i love stepups.

I am scared shitless of BB stepups. Even with the bar. My balance really sucks.

wtf my edits never show up. i accidentally hit submit on the above post. edited it with a nice long post… and now the fucker doesn’t show. this forum tests mah last nerves.

Uh, yeah, ditto on that! I am now actually totally intrigued to see what you were using - haha!

Yup! great step ups - I was also quite scared to try the BB.
