yuppers. that’s what bb means.

nutrition’s been off the hook perfect lately. i’m keeping my carb ups super clean. haven’t popped the top on a cold one in AGES. getting veggies daily. lots of protein and fats from lots of sources. 22 days baby! i got this!

i’ve been hitting the cardio like a motha, too. lots of steady state and lots of complexes/circuits.

today’s high carb day and it felt so awesome to have lots of energy and be able to take my sweet time working out. with all this cardio and circuit style weightlifting… it is nice to finally get some rest between sets.

am fasted cardio:

33 mins-----avg hr 138----253 cals burned

afternoon workout:

foam rolling, hip mobility stuff, some glute activation
bb front sq: 55 x 10; 85 x 3; 115 x 2; 135 x 1; 85 x 10
kroc rows: 45 x 10L/10R; 70 x 15L/15R
bb push press: 85 x 5; 95 x 3; 105 x 2; 120 x 1; 85 x 8
bb reverse lunges: 85 x 8L/8R; 105 x 5L/5R
pullups: bw x 5, 5
db snatch: 42.5 x 8R/8L

75 mins----avg hr 116----398 cals burned

now i need to shower, eat, and make soap before i have to go milk in da rain. boo hoo.

alright, lady. you inspired me to get on and follow a nutrition plan…now i need to follow your cardio and circuit style training. damn nice workouts!

congrats on the no pop topping. wish i could say this weekend was a successful clean carb up but the vino ruined that. but visiting best buddies from outta state was worth it. now i have to clean up til i fly out there in april!

Can I come work with you, I love those little baby goats!!

deja you are an inspiration - perfect nutrition, awesome workouts.

Great stuff on your last training! Those numbers are enviable.

oh you and your push presses. Those are huge!

That is single-minded pursuit of a goal, right here. Impressive.

T - i think u made the right choice regarding relaxing the nutrition while friends were in town. gotta live a little and then lock down hard when life is normal. =+)

rblue - sure… be here round four.

thanks alisa and masch. i’m gonna go for the bodyweight push press next week i think.

damn right kimba. i’m gonna put it in this goal’s butt.

don’t know if i mentioned it here… but we’re not going to make it to amsterdam afterall. instead we’re going on a snoeshowing trip in the french alps with a friend and some of her friends. should be awesome. my old lady is super into that kind of stuff and about shit her pants when i told her we were invited.

i’m doing millions of high rep step ups with a heavy barbell to get in shape for it. and lots of walking with the backpack on.

i’m so freakin tired of the rain. and it’s supposed to stick around through the middle of the month AT LEAST. this is unheard of around here. i usually already have a nice tan going. curses!!

nailed the high carb day yesterday. super clean. lots of fruit, oats, brown rice, etc.

21 days to go!

the biggest obstacle was st patty’s day. my second favorite holiday of the year. but turns out i have to work all day so i shouldn’t be too tempted. i’m super bummed to not spend all day in a pub… but it’s only a week before vacation…so i can hang.

A bodyweight push press. Wow. I like it when people list their lifts in relation to their bodyweight. Very impressive goal. I’ll be rooting for you.

A bodyweight push press. Wow. Nice goal. I really, really like it when people put their lifts in the context of their bodyweight. Especially 'cause I’m so small and some of the numbers you strong women post are just daunting. I’ll be rooting for you on that bodyweight push press!

Sorry for the double post. Didn’t seem to take it the first time.

no worries snappy… for some reason everything takes like an hour to show up in this journal.

i do like the way you got more verbose and somewhat nicer in 28 minutes. =+D

i like thinking of the lifts in context of bodyweight because it’s a nice way to have smaller goals during a cut. and it keeps me from letting my weight get super high since i have a lifetime goal of a 3x bw dl and it’s NEVER gonna happen if i let my weight skyrocket. haha

last night for a quick cardio sesh i did some short rest low step up sets.

bb step ups to 10" box: 125 x 20, 20, 20, 20, 20, 20, 20, 20 (total reps, not per leg)
foam rolling

my traps are hella sore and having the barbell on them was painful! it helped take away from the fact i was sucking wind, bigtime.

20 minutes after this workout my laying down completely relaxed heartrate was back down to 55-58 bpm.

interesting cuz it wasn’t too long ago my waking/laying resting low heartrate was around 60 bpm.

looks like all the conditioning is paying off a bit.

VERY impressive weighted pull ups. Your legs are looking secksie as hell, and congrats on the conditioning/heart rate. I am always inspired to better health when I visit your log.

Nice step ups! I always have trouble doing those with a bb, it feels like I lose circulation in my hands & arms (doesn’t happen with squats)… anyone else experience this?

I’m with kpsnap regarding the bw push press, that’s a great goal! I can’t wait to hear about it!

your step ups are always impressive! you must have great balance and ass skills

Adjust the bar down on your back - should fix the numbness, if it doesn’t try a pussy pad on the bar, whatever you can to get the pressure off the nerves that stem from the back of your neck.

And nice PP deja!
