I want to be huge.
But not as much as I dislike always eating a meal every two hours. And waking up to eat before going back to bed. And thinking about everything I eat. Or having to meet with a shady doctor to get special prescriptions for my “hormone deficiency”
Being huge is awesome, and I have a lot of respect and lust for the guys who can pull it off. But I think that like most guys I am a lot more interested in having a life that doesn’t revolve around working out, eating, and worrying about where my next stack of roids, HGH, and speed is going to come from.
In other words, you’d like to be huge, you’re just too lazy and unmotivated, and are making up excuses about needing to take illegal drugs in order to reach that goal as well.
You pretty much describe the majority of people out there I think. Sure, they’d like to make millions playing professional sports, or have big muscles, or be “ripped”, or be a millionare, but they don’t want to put in the effort that it takes to get there.
And don’t play the “I want to have a life” card. What does that mean anyways? You want to go out and get plastered, eat a steady diet of fast food and sit around watching tv?
Is dedicating yourself to something and persevering in it until you achieve your goals any less of a life than that? Are you really suggesting that you have more of a “life” than professional athletes? Or successful people in any endeavor? Because I bet there were lots of people along the way that tried to warn them to that they needed to “get a life” instead of dedicating so much time to their passion. Good thing they didn’t listen.
Look, if you don’t want to be huge (and you don’t really want to if you aren’t willing to do what it takes to get there) that’s fine. Different strokes.
But don’t try to insinuate that people who do actually have the dedication to do so don’t “have a life”, or all take steroids.[/quote]
I was going to tear into supabeast’s post, but sentoguy did it so much better.
