1morerep, do u take steroids? Even if u do that is a competition worthy physique. u get a 10 from me. What do ur lifts look like?[/quote]

no steel_12…no pharmaceuticals of any kind went into the making of this physique. and my lifts are not worth mentioning. i openly admit i look a lot stronger than i actually am. at 160 i’m lucky if i can bench 250 for 1 rep. i’m not a power guy at all. i don’t squat or deadlift due to injury. i just do the best i can and it seems to work for me .

You still look damn good.

thanks makavali. my goal at this stage is not to add more size but to improve what i already have. i’d like to look harder and more muscular. achieve that granite-like look. actually my goal is to look like dave goodin.

I think your an inspiration to us all. I always see your profile and it really stands out amoung most the others. I hope when I’m 40 I’ll look that good. As far as not being a power guy, you could of fooled me. You look extremly diesel. Great job.

ROb

Thanks Rob. i’m glad i fooled ya! because as i’m always so fond of saying, i don’t care how much i can bench. i only care how much i LOOK like i can bench…

Heh, that’s what i’m talking about!

Would I be right in assuming you do a lot of volume for hypertrophy? I mean, obviously if you’re that big and not as strong as you look you must move a decent amount of weight for a good number of times.

Good job man! Great achievement.

Not to take anything away from what you’ve accomplished but it’s pretty sad that at 40 years old you’re the exception and not the rule. As far as I’m concerned that’s what 40 should look like. Most 20 somethings don’t look half as good.

Share and use what you have as a tool to motivate and inspire. Maybe talk to kids…and adults about wellness. Make a difference. You changed your body and I’m sure you can now change lives.

Hopefully you’ll inspire many to put down the remote and get moving!

be well.

shit man . . . speechless never seen this thread before! good goin!

In my opinion you have a pretty ideal physique. Inspirational. Thanks man.

you are an insperation to us all.

thanks to you guys for the positive vibes. i really do appreciate it

How’d you get your lats that big? Any advice you can give me? I’ve been trying everything I can think of but they don’t seem as massive as I think they can be. Maybe Genetic?

i’d say so. they ballooned out soon after i started training so it has to be genetics. i vary my grip a lot for variety tho. but where i excel in width, i lack in thickness so there’s always a weak area or 2 that needs some sort of special attention.

oh everyone look better in their avatar!..lol…thanks

I gave you a solid 9. Not only because you are forty plus, but you have a better physique than most bb’ers in their twenties, juiced or not.
