I Can't Believe It's Been 25 Years!

i like dave goodin too. you look a bit thicker than him tho not quite as polished.

hmm…i seriously doubt i’m thicker. it may just appear that way because he’s so lean. i’ve got a loooong way to go until i’m at his level of muscle maturity and refinement. his abs are outstanding. i’d pose down with him only if we both wore tank tops!

you look really thick, especially for a 39 year old (no offence lol)

thanks guys. yes my calves are way weak compared to the rest. and my back development has suffered since my injury. i can’t use heavy poundages on stuff like bent rows or deads although i’ve recently begun rack deads and so far so good.

What about db rows? These are now my favorite ‘pure’ back exercise (esp. “kroc rows”). I find them to be easier on the back than bent rows, but great for size/thickness. You can probably go heavy on them since you’re supporting yourself with the bench. Do you do them at all? Then, I’m not anywhere near as ripped as you.

ahh yes 1 arm db rows. i have a sort of love/hate relationship with those. i’m pretty strong with them so i have to go very heavy or else i’ll be there forever squeezing out reps. and if i go heavy enough to keep the reps under 10, i feel like my form isn’t all that great. perhaps i’ll try again and see since it’s been a while since i’ve done them.

They’re great for thickness, but there’s another variation that’s awesome as well–instead of pulling the db to the chest, pull to the hip. Trust me, weird, and you definitely have to lighten the load more than you figured you would, but great feeling in the lats if done right.

1morerep first of all awesome work but a question are you left handed ? because your left arm seems better than your right not a criticism at all just like to seem if I’m right.

thanks dylock. actually i’m right handed but my left arm is about 1/4" larger than my right.

You look great keep it up. I’m just turned 50 and it only gets harder to stay in shape, but I think I wiil have a six pack by the summer.KEEP IT UP YOU ARE STILL A PUPPY>

Fantastic work 1morerep - you are an inspiration.

I am hitting 40 this year and will be using it to get my backside into shape.

If you dont mind, could you give an overview of your diet. I couldn’t see it in the thread anywhere.

thanks much guys. sure swerven…i have a pretty detailed outline of my supps, diet and training in my bb.com profile. here’s the link:

Don’t you just love it. Who would have thought you get better with age!!! Myself being 37 I love it. Each year I get better!!! Looking great bro!!!

thanks kiyoshi! and yes i do love it. the look of surprise is so satisfying when i tell people who ask my age that i’m 40. i’m actually enjoying it since i don’t look or feel my age.
and i’d say you look awesome yourself but i’m not the type to state the blatantly obvious!

I think you’re a smart ass and an asshole for the most part but that will never take away from your physique. 20 years is a long time and your physique obviously speaks for itself when it comes to dedication. Everything looks top of the notch even UPPER PECS. (i had to say it)You’ve inspired me to hit it even harder than normal tommorow.

i admit i’m a bit of a smart ass at times but asshole? that was a bit harsh.

Good job getting into shape in less than 2 years, and don’t give up now!

1morerep, do u take steroids? Even if u do that is a competition worthy physique. u get a 10 from me. What do ur lifts look like?
