Powerlifting squats tend to be with a wide stance, but what is considered wide varies. I have never seen a powerlifter use anything but a low bar position.
No, you rest the bar on your neck. It might be a little bit on your traps, but that is basically your neck. That bar position in the photo is better. It doesn’t have to be super low, but not on your neck.
I don’t see how pausing in hole protects your knees. If anything it puts more stress your knees. If you want to pause then just use a box. Besides you aren’t really pausing. Plus, if safety is your concern then why the hell do you make the bar bounce on your back(neck actually, witch is worse) to get it set right. This is way more unsafe.
I suggested a boat load of hamstring/glute work. SLDLs RDLS, GHR, GMins, Lunges…ect.

Hussayn, in the second clip, it looks like your hips shift from left to right about halfway up (then from right to left on the descent). Is this something you’ve observed? Perhaps it’s just the angle of the camera. I ask because I tend to do that too, but I haven’t seen anyone here mention it.

Good job lifting, but I was told you want to come up faster then when you go down. Always keep that in mind, ok ? Go down S-L-O-W, and EXPLODE to the TOP !!! GOOD WORK !!![/quote]
When lifting very heavy, which op is, you cant lift that fast as wieght is to much to lift fast or with an explosion. So disagree…
Form looks good…just a suggestion, try to set up perfectly under the bar before you unrack instead of bouncing it till you have it locked in. Saves energy and could save your body from some unnecessary wear and tear. BTW they have Popeye’s Supp stores in Greece?
OK i’m going to make a list of all this stuff on Squat day… i’ll keep you up to date.
I want to thank all the nut crackers for telling me to crack nuts. What I mean by this is I deadlifted today and i just feel like i came from jail. My glutes are sore as hell along with my hams. I did narrow and sumo deads while trying to ‘‘crack nuts in between my ass’’ and i really feel my glutes/hams firing – It’s a beautiful thing. I wish i had known how to ‘crack nuts’ a year ago.
