Humapro

Love the train of thought here.

Yeah, they might be adding in “something extra”… but, as long as it works, I’m not gonna ask any questions.

that’s the thing… only thing stopping me from trying it out is that ALR makes it.

And what are you proposing? “Hey ALR, are you spiking your Humapro product with illegal substances?”

They were caught in the past for spiking one of their products. If that’s enough for you to never try their products ever again, fine. However Humapro has been out for 2+ years and there is no evidence supporting the idea they are spiking this product.

There’s a guy who took humapro for a month and then took a drug test for 10 commonly used substances. His results came back negative. Take that for what’s it’s worth.

youtube “HUMAPRO VS STEROID DRUG TEST” for the video

Guess you didn’t recognize a “tongue in cheek” comment. Surprising error for such a sanctimonious bastard. j/k

I would like to keep this thread going and hear more from people who have used the product.

It’s not that inexpensive but for the amount of protein in a serving it is actually slightly cheaper than most of my food sources.

I bought two of the 60 scoop containers today. I follow the Modified Warrior Diet by Mike Keck. Basically I have hydrosolate with my first thing in the morning training, 3 hours later have an “underfeed meal”, with another underfeed 3 hours after that. I night I have a huge “feast” of meat, veggies, healthy fats, and a small amount of sweet potato.

I am going to do a 40 day experiment with the Humapro. I will replace my intra-workout and two underfeed meals with a scoop of Humapro each time. Then I will have my feast at night as usual. I will see how effective this is for fat loss while maintaining muscle and strength.

1 scoop = 28g according to the company.

So you’d prolly do two scoops/meal

With my current setup I drink 38g whey while lifting and each underfeed is 25g whey so I’ll be good with one scoop each time.

I’ve completed two weeks with the Humapro and I’ve lost 11lbs from the day I started while maintaining strength. I cut out 100g of whey isolate from my diet and replaced it with 3 scoops of Humapro each day.

Why is that, Andy??

Do you compete in a tested setting? Or is it just “principalities”?

Dropping the weight could’ve just occurred as a result of a lowering of calories. I wonder what would happen if you traded your whey for standard BCAA’s.

both.

Just curious, but is anybody following a strict paleo style eating habit that use Humapro? Since it doesn’t contain any dairy, and it’s gluten free?

“Vegan Friendly” & “Gluten Free” I know the whole purpose of going Paleo is to just eat natural foods but I rather take this if it will help since it takes me around an hour to get home after I leave the gym because of the commute.

I follow my own bodybuilding interpretation of paleo. So it’s basically paleo supplements. I know the weight loss is from less calories, that’s the point of using Humapro instead of whey. I’ve tried the BCAAs instead and I get sick feeling from hunger. I don’t get that with the Humapro.

Ok I understand that as I’ve heard it from other people as well. Following the guidelines like I mentioned before means no dairy, period. BCAA all have some form of derivative from milk. And of course regular whey protein powder is out as well. This is the only one that I found that doesn’t have either but it’s pretty expensive for the amount you get. Either way, if not I’ll just wait till I get home and eat a post workout meal if this isn’t viable, though I don’t see why not.

Many paleo followers will actually include dairy if you tolerate it well. Whey isolate is mostly devoid of lactose. I don’t sweat that type of stuff much as long as the rest of my nutrition plan is spot on.

These are the types of experiments I like running myself from time to time. I may consider doing something similar with aminos. Cheers for sharing that.

I have been using humapro for ~1.5 yrs. I cannot live without it. Since I’m a veggie who might eat the occasional fatty fish (salmon) and greek yogurt fairly regularly, I actually use it to replace the majority of my protein. Most days I live on humapro and veggies, some nuts, rarely any grains. I’ve found that my body tolerates humapro way better than whey, etc. I still use some whey, sometimes, but humapro is my staple.

Has anyone tried the new orange flavor??? They don’t carry it at vitamin shoppe yet and variety helps.

Edit: Duh, I eat eggs too… But not every day. Easily get boring to me, I guess.

Veg, orange flavor is awesome.

Lately I’ve been eating

Breakfast (usally 6-8 eggs, some toast, ketchup)

Snack: Humapro!!!

Lunch: Salad w/ chicken, potato, coconut oil

Pre Workout: MORE HUMAPRO + Beta Alanine
During workout keep sipping on dat h’pro

Post: Whey w/ guar gum (get some guar gum if you like milkshake consistency shakes

Dinner: Been either a footlong or a big huge fruit bowl w/ cottage cheese, also sunflower seeds

Point is, that I’ve subbed humapro in for snacks which has made shit very very convenient. Or some days, I skip breakfast and have a 2 scoop hit of HP. Or sub it for a meal. Basically, it’s a very convenient supp that has really helped me out quite a bit
