I use humapro when I recomp via leangains style intermittent fasting and I do 2 servings every 2 hours during the waking hours of the fast (8 total scoops). I also train first thing in the morning, so I end up just having HP pre and post workout, no carbs and I have great workouts/recovery. I’m a fan.

nice yeah i like that. I may start training fasted at like 3 in the morning due to schedule conflicts i’ll start using the humapro without a doubt
I use Humapro and really like it.
I’ll use it pre and post workout and in the same way that KB said as well.
Try it before you comment on its efficacy.
How many grams of protein is in a scoop of humapro? I cant find that info anywhere. I am allergic to whey and casein so I have always had to find alternative protein supplements. I have been using ON egg protein for a couple of years now and it works great but would like something different.
I would like something to drink as soon as I wake up in the mornings to break my fast since i cant eat anything until i get to work a couple of hours after waking up. Would this product be ideal for that?

To make it simple, 1 Gram of HumaPro Protein only produces 0.4 Calories.
The comparison for Fat Reduction is completely mathematical: HumaPro produces 40 Grams of Protein for 16 calories. Whey, as I mentioned above, produces 896 Calories to give your body the same Anabolic Gain of 40 Grams.

I was under the impression 1 scoop was equal to approx. 25g of protein. I’ll look this up later though I can’t remember where i read that.

from their website:
Moreover, with HumaPro® what you are consuming has only .4 calories per gram and that the utilization equivalent of 5 grams is the same as 28g of whey or soy protein. It sounds hard to believe yet years of research and clinical trials have proven HumaPro®’s absorption and effectiveness over all other forms of protein.

Please do… I’m curious where that conversion is coming from considering whey has about 10g EAA’s per 25g. Obviously gastric content/emptying and all that plays a role…
“Nothing like whey protein?.and 1g of it will be equivalent to 5.6g of pharmaceutical whey protein. (that?s right?the kind in IV bags at hospitals). Very little waste, 99% Anabolic, and due to its efficiency servings are 5-10g up to 4 times a day.”
I’m assuming 1 scoop is 5 grams and 2 scoops is 10.
1g hpro=5.6g whey::5g hpro-28g whey.
i mean unless im reading that wrong or they are lying?

Your guess is as good as mine… From the site:

What I’m really wondering is how much better is this stuff than just plain EEA’s?
so how many containers o this stuff woukd it take to hit 300 or so grams per day as DOHCrazy did?

EDIT: I made a mistake and this is wrong
Serving Size: one Scoop (7.42 grams per serving)
servins per container: sixty
5g of humapro roughly equivilent to 28g of protein.
1 scoop = 7.42g of hpro = about 42g of protein (i rounded with 7.5)
1 scoop 6 times a day should be about 250g of protein
the bottle says atheletes may take up to 2 scoops 6 times a day.

I don’t know where everyone is getting this “300 or so grams a day like DOHCrazy did” nonsense.
I took 2 servings 4 times a day.
I ate about 300g of carbs from white rice and veggies, and sometimes Nature Valley Granola Bars
I got my fat from virgin coconut oil.
This is so simple, yet everyone is making up things like “300g protein” and worrying about how many grams of whey a serving of HumaPro equals.

You’re also 100% wrong.
The powdered drink contains flavoring and what-not that makes a serving weigh more than the 5g of EAAs it includes.
2 scoops = 10 net grams of HumaPro

How weren’t you starving?
Re: Humapro to whey conversion
They say 1 scoop HP is equivalent to 28g whey (in terms of how much protein your body will actually use).
If 1 scoop = 28g protein, then 11 scoops = 308g protein.

I meant “300g protein” a day for me, not like you.
Das DOHcrazy did" just refered to the fact you used it as a sole protein source.
I’m just trying to do some figuring in my supp budget to see if I can swing it.
Sorry if I wasn’t clear, and thanks for the response.
