How to Make a Big Medicine Ball

i wanty to make a big medicine ball about the size of an atlas stone,Does any body have any idea how to do that or where I could find one thats heavy.

fill a small stability ball with water or sand

Man that’s an idea… the above is probably your best bet- the first thing that popped into my head was those gigantic bouncy balls at Walmart but I doubt they’re durable enough.

Duct tape is your friend

Here is what I have come up with so far,Get one of those big kick balls kids have and cut it open enough to put stuff in,Then sew a big zipper on it so I can make it heavier and lighter as I please.I just need to figure out how to keep it balanced.

keep it balanced… just fill it completely. Find something that would make it the right weight. i.e. gravel for heavier, sand for a little lighter.

All you need to do is find a ball big enough and durable enough and the rest is easy. The link below (pdf file) has pretty detailed instructions on how to make one with a basketball, just apply the same concept to a bigger ball

I prefer to use a playground style kickball, which will be slightly larger and have better grip on it. use pliers to pop out the air hole thingy and use a funnel to slowly fill it with paving sand and then put the air hole plug back in and seal the hole with glue. you can use denser material live river gravel to make it even heavier but you will also need to make a bigger hole in the ball.
