What city do you live in? I’m in Chicago and could spin and toss a rock and hit a successful dude. It’s been effortless building such a network. Location probably plays the biggest role.

I work in LA and know plenty of successful people through work, but aerospace doesn’t typically garner overly masculine or fit dudes… i don’t exactly fit in lol. Good news is i know people refer to me as ‘muscles’, bad news is they all think I’m an idiot roido (which is half true, to be fair) because they’re all airplane nerds.
Ever go to networking events? I imagine there’s more of that type walking around LA than Chicago.
I interpreted your post in a general sense of strength and success. Very few guys I meet are that muscular. But I have friends at the gym whenever I need that type of comradery.
