How Much Can You Pull?

In 2008 I pulled 315 at a BW of 158… so right at 2x bodyweight…

In my meet last May I pulled 341 but I was weighing closer to 175 (:::sadface::::slight_smile: which is 1.95xBW

My new goal is to pull 375 @ a BW of 160 (2.34 x BW)

My ultimate goal is to pull 405 a BW of 160 (2.53 x BW)

Hopefully all of my corrective BS will start paying off soon and my strength will shoot up! (I haven’t trained heavy in 4+ months because I am working with Mike Robertson on fixing all of my imbalances and weaknesses…

Me just in my meet last Saturday but it wasn’t raw and it wasn’t my best ever. I pulled 152.5 (335lb) at 129lbs but missed 165 (363). booo. So it doesn’t really count except my erectors are still smoking.

It doesn’t count because . . .? I’m wildly impressed and compete geared as well.

DAMN OURO- that’s effing phenomenal!!! congrats.

I pulled 455 for 2 from the rack (knee high) today!

Anyone pull snatch grip lately? I did reps at 155 with chalk and straps, damn that is hard.

I hate snatch grip.

I took a break from studying today and pulled 315x2 with my belt. Sitting around 170 these days. Ugh. So 1.8 xbw. Feel good about it considering I’ve been inconsistent with training though.

it was a crapload of weight, I felt good about it.

wide grip, like how you set up for a snatch (olympic lift). For me that means pinky finders outside the last set of rings. tears the hell out of your hands but really helps to build your back.

And both hands are overhand. Not a mixed grip.

Always wanted to learn snatches. I learned the other Oly lifts pretty proficiently even if the weight was pretty light.

LOL yeah a mixed grip on a snatch, that’d break your arm right off.
Mel, it’ll improve your grip strength big time and give you a few new callouses between your thumb and first finger as a bonus!
kp, snatch has always been my weakest lift, my kid is outperforming me now. I can still C&J more than her, but not for long.
