How Do You Feel Healthiest?

No, this isn’t another bulking vs. cutting discussion. Just curious under what conditions you’ve felt healthiest. Strangely, this word (healthy) is not encountered often. Under what conditions have you felt best? I started lifting seriously about 2 years ago. I was 175-180 lbs. I’m now 200-205–I’m 6’2" and 33 years old. I feel much stronger and have much more energy now. I feel healthiest while in a (relative) bulking phase–eating alot of protein and vegetables and keeping carbs to a minimum. This was a bit surprising as, at first, I felt like I was stuffing myself though not to the point of sickness. I probably eat 750-1500 calories more now then I did when I began. I also eat alot cleaner. Of course I’ll need more to support a bigger body. The extra calories gave me energy to work harder/lift heavier in the gym. I also felt better doing more high-rep training–seemed to add cardio to typical lifting. Though I like the feeling of heavy weights and am currently doing WS4SB my energy levels are a bit lower than when doing TBT or something like that. No interest in cutting or getting body-fat down. I can see ab muscles but also have some fat around the middle. No worries though–I’m feeling good
Eating more, eating healthier, lifting to get the heart rate up. To reiterate, hope this doesn’t turn into a skinny guys vs. X vs. CT’s recent article. Just–when do you feel healthiest?

i feel healthiest when i eat every 2 hours

Agreed. When I am between 12% - 16% bf I feel healthiest. It is extremely hard for me to maintain a sub 10% bf number, but when I can have a diet consisting of mostly healthy food, but also sandwiches, filthy burgers, and the occasional pizza, I feel my best not only physically but mentally.
