Don’t we all…
Bergman, Elusive-Thanks for clarifying it. I figured that was the case.
Tech9-Thanks for posting the log. That was an interesting read.

For someone who’s as muscular as he is, I don’t see how going from a pure shit diet (in regards to cutting) to a very clean diet WOULDN"T yield excellent results. Fast.
You don’t?
I think he meant this.

Shit.
Yes, I meant this ^.
I’m retarded.
by eating his veges of course…LOL
Lard ass? Do you guys go out at all? Go to the fucking mall, and you’ll see some lard asses.
If his joints weren’t all fucked up, DT is strong enough in that before pic to easily squat 5 plates a side.
What he did, while visually impressive, is nothing more than ANY competing bodybuilder does. He bulked up, then dieted down.
Good thing I have T-Nation to tell me Dave Tate used to be a lard-ass. Without this site I would’ve just thought he was huge and freakishly strong.
The power of internets!

5 hundred pound plates per side?
or 5 plates per side for reps?
or 5 plates per side raw?
Is this the ‘T-Man’ version of gossip-magazine-reports on celebrity dieting?
^Yes.
I am more interested, not in how he lost the weight but how much his strength might have suffered and if it did how long it took to recover it, if at all.

Why don’t you ask him. My point wasn’t to be as specific as I could w/ what he could lift. It was to show that he’s a strong guy, not a lard ass.
Why would you call someone out when the tone of the thread was to show newbs that he’s not fat?
But, since you asked, what I meant was 5 plates per side for reps.

And my point is that in his “lard-ass” powerlifting days, Dave Tate squatted over 900. 5 plates per side should be easy.
As much as I admire Tate for his power-lifting, or running one of the best businesses (elitefts.com is incredible) for buying strength and conditioning products, I’ll call a spade a spade when it comes to looking like a lard-ass.
Also,
blah blah blah. Internet warriors. Fake anger at true adjectives.
lol.
Blah blah blah. Short skinny little losers.
True adjective dat, boy!
lol
