Honest Physique Thoughts

Do you know what a lean, dry physique looks like? I’m thinking no. He looks amazing.

I mean, yeah, the oly gym I go to has a lot of absolute freaks. I’m not saying this guy’s physique is bad, he’s doing great, but in many of these pictures it’s very fair to say he looks like he hasn’t slept the prior night.

If he’s genuinely looking for feedback, this is what leapt out to me. It’s not an attack and it’s not something hard to fix if it does need to be fixed. People will just look “unhealthy” if they don’t hit their micros or suffer from stress. You see this in commercial gyms a lot. I know for me personally I can see a big difference if I’m not eating vegetables.

Right?? Lucky genetic lottery pos ! I’d kill for that skin quality

I don’t see any of that. Maybe when seeing someone in person, you can make that kind of assessment. But from a few pictures?? I see no indication of an aging look in the pics. But what do I know.

@rgruntorad I believe you have made some progress. But if you want to make those pics look better, you need to make job one: muscle control of your scapula. Not being able to flare your lats is causing you to look narrow in all front and back poses.

Are you planning to allow your weight to rise and build more muscle for a couple months, or so?

I have actually been trying really hard to do some scan release techniques. I don’t feel I’m making a ton of progress. I’m currently in a 3100 calories per day plan. It’s been a bout a month on that. Up from about 2800-2900.

I’ve had great results from an exfoliating gel cleanser and an herb mint facial mask. If my face looks puffy, I’ll wear an ice pack while I do my morning crunches.

You may have posted it somewhere but what does a day of eating look like for you?

Yes, I did post it elsewhere and we are working on upping my fats. That’s been a month now that I’ve been doing that. Roughly 300g protein, 350 carbs 60 fat

You must rip through the carbs. I would have thought much lower carb with that dry of a physique. Again, I’m jelly!!
Nice work man.

You look great man. Where are you weight wise from last updates?
What has changed in your diet? Training?

Nice sharp look.

You have the same posing problems, which has more to do with muscle control and body positioning than failure to flex. You pose all the muscles being displayed. This is good.

IMO, you need a posing coach for about a week, who can adjust your positioning to make you look wider and fuller.

I average 183. Not much of a change to be honest.

I’m now consistently hitting 3150-3200 calories per day instead of lowering calories on my two rest days. Training has stayed the same and consistent as always.

I wish I could afford this!! I feel so awkward and bad at it, but I do what I can.

This is all trial and error. On your side poses twist them a little more forward, where you look wider. Make sure you hold your stomach in on the side triceps pose.

Always hold your elbows at least as high as your shoulders when doing double biceps poses (front and back). You are close to doing that.

More of a vacuum?

No. Not a vacuum. Just tight abs and chest high. It is trial and error, until you like the look.

Posing tips/techniques from anyone is highly welcomed!!

Surely, there is someone fairly close to you, who could remedy many of your problems in as little as a half an hour.
