I want to get a home gym set up,and I am really unsure on what to go for.
Power Cage/Rack or Half Rack?
And also,I have two possibilitys on where to set it up.One room is ca.95 squarefeet, but have enough space to do press. The other room is ca.130 squarefeet, but not high enough to do press.
Which room should I go for?
Full rack if you can afford it and have space for it.
As for the room sizes, I’d personally go for the one with room to press, especially if you’re getting a full rack. The footprint of my home gym is literally 2 m x 2 m, with the only thing extending outside that area being my bar, which is the usual 7 feet. You’d be surprised at how much you can get out of such a small area.
BOOM! DONE!
I ditched the commercial gyms and started with this set up about a year ago.
You can add stuff as you need but for basic 5/3/1 this is all you need.
Put down some horse stall mats and you have a world class gym.
Build a platform. If you buy a 2x2 rack, it MUST be bolted down. If you don’t buy one, the most important piece of equipment is a solid platform. I built one and have published the VERY EASY plans.
“Thork13” : I live in Norway,so as much as I would love to do some shopping from elitefts,I think the shipping would be a bit to much hehehe
“Jim Wendler” : Thanks for the answer.I was thinking of a rack or something, just to get as many training options cramped in to the little space I have. But how about a squat/bench stand?

You should get whatever your training needs/dictates. What I listed above is bare minimum to get incredibly strong.
I have the s1 squat stand for rogue and about 600+ pounds of plates I’ve picked up over the years. If I could do it all over again I would buy an s2 for a little more money since it has a pull up bar, but other than that I am very happy with the set up. In a couple months I’m going to buy a few sheets of plywood for a platform but I’ve been using bumper plates and rubber mats thus far with no issue.
