I injured a hip flexor a while back, and after going to an ART practicioner, I got it cleared up, but I have noticed that I am somewhat weaker on that side when it comes to explosive movements to my left. The only exercises the ART guy gave me were seated knee lifts, 3x10. I have to say, this hasn’t really helped. Does anyone have any suggestions or experience with this type of injury and rehabbing it?
try Cable stack rope pull throughs. Attach the rope to the bottom of the stack, stand 2-3 feet away from the stack, grab the weight through your legs and pull through with your hips.
I think that aside from that it will just take time to heal fully-- I’ve had a torn hip flexor before.
