Hi people, I could really do with the benefit of some of T-Nation’s combined wisdom. I injured myself in a powerlifting meet a while ago. After an MRI I’ve finally been told I have stress fractures of the femoral head in both hips.
This is a total bitch, as it means I’m now unable to squat/deadlift heavy for the next twelve months, i cant even do light reps at the moment. As such, I’d like some ideas for excercises for my back and legs that wont place stress on the hip joint like squats and deads.
If anyone has ever had anything similar and knows of any treatments/supplements etc. that are effective for healing bone that would be a bonus too. Thanks.
