HEROES The Series! (*Spoilers*)

I enjoyed this week’s episode. I just forgot to bump the thread.

I agree that Peter is an idiot at this point. I guess he couldn’t have known what his Dad’s powers were, but for him to not see that coming, especially when he can READ MINDS, is pretty stupid.

It seems like they are really setting Sylar up to be the savior this season.

I’m with you malonetd, I liked Adam Monroe. I felt bad for the actor that played him. They bring him back for a episode just to kill him. Thanks for nothing, eh?

I’m completely ok with this. Sylar is great. He’s turning into my favorite and he is the one character that has been done almost perfectly so far.

Agreed! I think after the second episode this season, he became my favorite character. I just love the direction they are taking him. Such a drastic turn.

Agreed on the Sylar thing.

I didn’t like how they just discarded Adam Monroe like that…so as of right now Nathan’s dad is Peter + whatever other powers he has stolen through the years…WTF.

Monroe will be back. I think he’s a natural “mutant” so his dust will probably regenrate somehow, don’t know. Peter will get his powers back, with Suresh possibly? He has done this before. The Haitian is the equalizer. Wouldn’t Peter have had his mother’s powers and see what she saw prior to being K.O’d and prior to him attempting to see how she ticked? Perhaps Suresh will give Mr. Petelli more than he bargained for?

Hiro, shiiit. That was amusing. I think future Ando gets help from Suresh and Ando then wants to get the formula to get a “cure” from it for the others… something along those lines.

Daphne and Parkman, now that he has told her the future things may change at this point, as proven with the African, it can change at any moment with anyone’s actions. It may come down to no matter how much we want to change the future it may find a way of happening anyway or as we have seen the cure is worse than the disease…

I’m not sure if Monroe would be back. I’m sure they had a Dust Buster laying around.

Yeah, I don’t think he’s coming back either. I think Mr. Petrelli’s ability is to drain powers permanently although then again, it could be only for a certain amount of time or something. I wonder what other powers he’s got, besides Peter’s.

A few things about Peter:

  1. His dad has only shown he took his lightining ability, perhaps he can only take the one they are using.

2)Unless Arthurs ability is to take the mutant gene altogether Peter has the power to recall powers.

3)Being in contact with his dad and other mutants would give hime the chance to take them back.

I’m wondering; did Mr. Petrelli jack the borrowed powers Peter had, or those + his mimicry? Either way, he’s got the Sylar-vision, so does he get the hunger, or is he too evil to care?

And that flame guy needs to get shot in the face.

I think Arthur Petrelli absorbed all of Peter’s powers but doesn’t know exactly which powers Peter had. Art saw Peter use the lightning so he was able to use it…

I think Daphne is going to die. Matt Parkman is going to be the cause, that may be too obvious though.

I also think it’s pretty good how Sylar and Peter are turning into the, for lack of a better term, ‘earlier versions’ of each other.

He was in Angela’s dream. It seems like this season will lead up to something similar to that if you ask me…

Yeah, I thought he died when HRG shot his ass in the bank. To me, it looked like he nailed him in the chest area too so I assumed he got hit in the heart or lungs. He just randomly pops up again and plays no significant role at all, other than allowing for some nice special effects.

That was a great episode.

I kind of liked the Claire/Elle dynamic.

Sylar is still a badass, it doesn’t seem like he is really buying what his dad is selling.

Parkman and Chloe seems to be getting boring but why did Mr. Petrilli kill Parkman’s dad if he wanted PArkman for his powers? Couldn’t he have just stolen them from the dad?

Peter seems to be a little less of a douche this episode.

I’m still confused as to the new company’s agenda?

Agreed on all points.

I think Sylar is sticking with Mr. Petrelli to kind of keep an eye on him. I don’t think he completely buys what Mr. Petrelli is selling either. At the same time, I would think that Mr. Petrelli wants to keep Sylar close for a while too.

Yeah, I’m not sure why Mr. Petrelli didn’t steal Mr. Parkman’s powers first.

Peter seems finally be getting a clue again.

It will be interesting to see what Hiro sees in his vision. Maybe he’ll stop being such a dork and finally man up.

I’m not sure what Pinehearst is up to either. Now it looks like they are setting up a Pinehearst vs. Primatech showdown.

My guess is Arthur Petrelli was the one they speak of when they said that some individuals thought they were god like and tried to rule the world. If you remember this from season 1 or 2 cant recall exact season. He’s probably picking up where he left off(however he was put in that coma, they never said yet) and building his army of soldiers to back him.

I think primatech was more intended to do research, capture and hold bad guys and ultimately try and control the chaos, ehich could happen…sorta like the police per se…

I wonder if Daphne is really going to turn on parkamn or she’s just two timimg Mr.Petrelli in the whole scheme…this episode was good though and say this season is more invoved and exciting then the last 2

To me the only logical way Peter survived that fall w/o his powers was if Sylar slowed him down, like they said I believe or there’s just something inside him we dont know about.

Maybe his powers are coming back? That wouldn’t make sense though…

I do not think heroes like sylar, peter and claire, are like the others they have something extra. I would not be surprised if peter recalls or gains his powers back without help.

This would make sense I can recall twice now that something along those lines were said

  1. When Sylar took Claire’s power he made a statement that he couldn’t kill her even if he wanted too…

  2. Mrs.Petrelli sayn to Sylar(last episode)you have no idea what your capable of,while he laid there with his powers on lock by whatever they pump into them through that tube. But nonetheless he was able to use his powers anyways and get out.

If thats the case though that would mean Sylar really threw Peter out the window wanting him to die…making Sylar surely be on Mr.Petrelli’s side…

Thinking more about this sylar and peter and really sons of Mr/Mrs.Petrelli and nathan was given powers through expermintation…maybe theres more here than everyone knows.

Like Claire and Sylar I think Peter is not aware of all the gifts he has and I believe Sylar used his powers to make sure Peter did not die.

The flashback episode while not completely enlightening was pretty good overall. The dad is just a heartless bastard!
