Peter Petrelli remains a humongous douche, his character brings nothing to the table and just gets me irritated when he comes on screen. “Don’t feed into his paranoia.” Umm… dude… you can fly. Does that not make Nathan’s paranoia at least a little believable?
I think the Nikki/DL/Micah storyline has to somehow come back into the thick of things. It wouldn’t make sense to just have this outlying saga. Or maybe they are just preparing something for the second season? I dunno.
I got these confused a lot too:
Peter Petrelli = power absorbing man-nurse
Nathan Petrelli = Flying slimy politician guy
The Nikki/DL/Micah thing HAS to tie-in(at least I hope it does) I just wish it would hurry up and tie-in already! I’m guessing it’s something to do with Linderman maybe blackmailing DL into doing something for him by threatening Micah and Nicki breaking out.
Did anybody else figure out as soon as Claire said “I always imagined my parents living in some penthouse in New York City” that Nathan was going to end up being her father?

As soon as she said that, I knew it…
I still was thinking Linderman! haha That was great though.
Peter + Invisible Guy - So the Invisible guy isn’t as full of crap as I thought he might be at first. Apparently there is some type of history between him and Mr. Bennett maybe this is what caused him to view humanity in such a dim light? Perhaps they actually used to be friends until something happened that made him fake his own death and become the invisible hermit?
Claire - Ok I had no clue until they showed Nathan that he was going to be her dad. Last week when they showed the previews I thought who else wears suits? Nathan? Maybe Mr. Linderman?
Mr. Bennett - Sylar comes into his house and fucks things up! I’m surprised he ran though. He could have just cut their heads off telekinesis style! Would the Haitian be a match for Sylar? I somehow doubt it 1 on 1.
Hiro and Ando - Eh…somewhat boring ok dad go with my smarter sister got it.
Jessica- Ok WTF!! I realize Linderman has power but this is fucking ridiculous what about the psychiatrist that had holes burnt in her back?

I agree. That storyline is just getting more and more ridiculous. Somehow I’m starting to get the impression that the writers are really reaching while trying to figure out what to do with that character.

I knew it based on the previews from last week.
You were able to tell just from his arm and watch? Wow, I commend you (and no, I’m not being the least bit sarcastic).
The burns were from the tazer. The evil half busted the handcuffs and attacked the do-gooder psychiatrist.
So all Linderman arranged was for a death-row inmate to admit to the killings, then bribe a judge and maybe a prosecutor to believe it.
Oh, and Mohindar knows that Sylar is evil, remember he and Eve found his apartment. In that sneak preview Sylar must be posing as some other talented person.

I agree. They should’ve left the crazy bitch in the insane asylum as a wildcard to use later and focused on DL and Micah for a while.

What I mean is even though Linderman got all those charges dropped what about all the crap she has done while there like the psychiatrist.
In light of the end of Peter’s part of last night’s episode, I’m really curious as to the difference between Peter’s and Sylar’s powers - they are starting to sound more and more similar in net effect. They both acquire powers from other people.
They access their power in different ways, but is it possible that if Sylar didn’t see these powers as being part of the watchworks of the brain - something that had to be handled physically - that he would be able to absorb powers the way that Peter does?
I think Sylar is going to play Mohindar so he can get his hands on the “list” in order to find more people he can steal powers from.
Mr. Bennett - Sylar comes into his house and fucks things up! I’m surprised he ran though. He could have just cut their heads off telekinesis style! Would the Haitian be a match for Sylar? I somehow doubt it 1 on 1.

Remember, the Haitian has two abilities. The ability to wipe out memories AND the ability to block the ‘superpowers’ of other heroes. Every time he comes into close proximity with another hero their powers stop working. He’s like a walking (and rarely talking) piece of kryptonite.
Sylar was facing a two-on-one situation where one of the guys was packing heat AND his powers were being blocked. He had no choice but to run.

He might be posing as himself before he adopted the name Sylar. He’s probably posing as nerdy watchmaker who has no apparent power.

That’s a pretty good observation and one I hadn’t quite thought about yet. I did start to look at Peter as some kind of eventual “team leader” very early on in the series, but I hadn’t thought about him and Sylar being so alike.
Perhaps they will potentially become the ultimate rivals, somewhat of a Professor X - Magneto-type dynamic, if you will.

I don’t think the blocking thing is true, wasn’t Nathan able to fly away despite the fact that the Haitian was standing right next to him? Wouldn’t Sylar be able to get back far enough and TK something right at the Haitian and end him? Maybe I’m getting too much X-men in my thought process.

I only remember when the Haitian blocked Matt’s powers. Does anyone remember when he blocked someone else’s powers?
The Haitian used his powers to keep Eden Mccain within the facility to help Mr. Bennet with his kidnapping work. There’s an awesome list on wikipedia of ALL the characters and their backgound. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_characters_in_Heroes#Claude
Anyone else notice that Heroes is being bumped for 24 next week?? BOOOO!!
