OK kiddo, I only want to comment on this statement here.
You will get NOWHERE with that attitude towards this activity unless you have outstanding genetics - which you do not have.
I assume you are south asian, if so you have your work cut out for you already.
You’re 14 so thats a very very good thing though. You need to MAKE time for lifting no matter whats going on in your life - you don;t avoid taking a shower or eating lunch/dinner just because you have an exam - do you? We’re ALL busy. Many of us are full-time students.
I myself am close to wrapping up my doctorate in electrical engineering and trained the day before my comprehensive examination. If things start getting out of whack, I shift to a lower volume, lower frequency higher intensity approach till I can get back - and even cut back on my pot sessions to make time (so you know how serious I am about this shit).
Going for a week without training each time your professor drops an asisgnment will lead to you look no better than the skinny fat brown dudes we see in school gyms - only you’ll have 633 posts to your credit.
Get a gym membership first and get on a solid massbuilding program.
Get a pullup bar and look for a playground with monkey bars nearby. Use this for days when you’re not able to go to the gym (pullups+dips+squat thrusts/pistols circuits).
Get serious, do this properly or look for a better way to spend your free time. Seriously. You have been a member here for a year and still haven;t gotten off your ass, and thats a little disappointing. You have age on your side and the experience of all these guys behind you.

Good post. No one has time. Make time. If you think you’re busy now, wait til you get a little older.

you’re a fuck stick. Do not listen to this idiot. The only thing I would take on board or believe is that he is infact an electrical engineer because he clearly doesnt know anything about training.
Dude you’re 14, concentrate as much time on your studies as you need to. Your only at school once, you have a lifetime ahead of you to train. and anyone who tells a 14 yrold to go on a mass building program is highly irresponssible, or retarded.

What the hell is wrong with a 14 year old trying to put on muscle? Are you on the right website?
14 year old concentrating on his studies? Are you kidding me? He is not going for a PhD here. He needs to do his homework and hit the gym. Both easily achievable.
Lol the workload of a 14 year old at school is piddly, as long as he can spell ‘firetruck’, knows that the webside sparknotes.com exists, and does 90% of his maths homework, he will do fine in school and have time to go to the gym as well. The only time I would expect someone to drop gym for study is in their last year, and even then I know more boys who have PICKED UP gym in their last year than have dropped it.
Why does it take you 3 hours to go to the gym and back? Surely there is a gym closer than an hour away from your house?

I’m sorry but no…you are the “fuck stick”. Homework and school are so ridiculously easy all the way up until college. It takes less than an hour a day to train, that is easy to make time for. I seriously think you are on the wrong website man…there is nothing wrong with a 14 year old wanting to put on some muscle and get stronger, I fucking WISH I could go back and start lifting when I was 14.
Ya, sorry Ahzaz, but who pull all nighters when they are 14?
Maybe shit is totally different in Canada, but here in the States I have yet to pull an all nighter because of school work or exams, and I’m done with highschool and heading to college (where I anticipate all nighters). But your 14 and have to stay up all night to do what? 14 is like 8th grade, I don’t think I had exams in 8th grade. Come to think of it, I didn’t do shit in 8th grade except show up. I understand you probably want to do better then that and put school first, but your 14. Are you in some super advanced math or science classes?

It is bodyweight training time for you. There are tons of good resources on this.
Do you plan on having gym access in the near future? Can you buy weights? If so get a 300 pound olympic set for ~ $ 110 bucks. Don’t get a plastic concrete filled set.
Talk to your parents. How are they with your training? Will they let you have a weight set?

Hey, I use a plastic concrete filled set! It is kind of lame when the plastic breaks though, LOL
I’ll throw in a grip excersize and ab exciersize whenever I feel nessessary. I’ll drink a protein shake with creatine, fish ol (the liquid kind, gives a lot of omega 3s) with the GNC brand of 7 servings of fruit thing. I can workout only 1hr everyday, and I get avg rest on school days (4-7hrs) but on weekends + summer i get 10-12hrs.

Hey, I’m just telling you what I read up/heard here. But my aunt is the head nurse in her department of the hospital (Has the education of a doctor, but when she was growing up it was improper for female doctors). When I asked her about creatine supplements she suggested not taking them until I was at least 18.
I’ve been reading around online and it seems that while it seems true that there is few negative side effects associated with creatine there is a lack of research done on the effects of it on people under the age of 18.
–Also, I haven’t been using any and Ive seen some great gains. I’m not sure if we need it at our age.
Feel free to correct me on the above paragraph people, as I still am not sure if it is safe to take creatine under 18 so far. Isn’t fish oil a blood thinner on a side note?

Please share, what negative things have you heard about creatine? Anything negative, because I’ve never heard any.

My parents gave me one ~ 25 years ago. I have 40 pounds of them worth in a backpack I occasionally walk with. I would have been better off with an olympic set but they didn’t know any better. They were runners.

Well my family is extremely over-protective to the point of being paranoid. Since I made this post I’ve been reading more articles about creatine online.
My conclusion:

Creatine is just fine for anyone under 18 so long as they’re properly hydrated and don’t overdo it.

Hey, I was wondering if you guys could link me some articles proving this in a convincing way. The one’s I have shown my parents did not persuade them enough to let me use it.

Holy shit, are we really thinking creatine is some crazy supplement with steroid like side affects. If someone is big the kids on the playground always blame creatine…
Anyways, you can explain to your parents that creatine is found in meats and fish. It’s a natural supplement which helps you get in extra creatine that would require a hefty penny in if you were to purchase that amount of meat to eat per day. It’s a supp like protein powder. Idk why people are so creatine paranoid. just use the recommended dosage, load up with 20grams for the first week per day and 5 grams then on out.
