ok im a hardgainer i started out 140 pounds a year ago basicly skin and bones for the past year ive gone from 140 to 200, i gained muscle and fat though because i ate anything with protein in it mcdonalds, kfc, anything.

for the past to months ive cut form 200 to 180, now i want to bulk up Again but i dont know what foods i need for a clean bulk and how much calories or protein i need to eat and if my metabolism has changed from the weight gain and im not a hardgainer anymore?? help plz thanks

Anyone who gains 60lbs in one year and calls themselves a “hard gainer” has no fucking clue what they are talking about.

I think you should really make a book out of your replies to peoples posts. I for one would buy it in a heartbeat.

BTW, I’m a hardgainer too. I’ve “only” gained aroung 120lbs in 17 yrs of lifting.

post pictures. I STRAIGHT UP DO NOT BELIEVE YOU!

I hate agreeing with the man but professor X is right.

Personally I can’t eat right so its always easy if I want to gain weight just cut back on the cardio.

Are you against supplements? if not, the fastest easist simplest is protein shakes and creatine. If you are in the gym properly at 180 lbs you won’t have a problem gaining good weight.

60 lbs in a year! Steroids, or a shit load of fat?

Hey, I’m a hardgainer too. When I was born I weighed less than 10 lbs.

On a more serious note, have they stopped teaching grammar in the last few years since I graduated high school?

Yes.

Well, if he’s a teenager going through his growing years, and nailed a legitimate ‘see-food’ diet, with good genetics, he could have done it.

To another poster, yeah… high school english has become so far off the reservation, its insane.

im not fat at all,im 180 pounds 6 foot and yeah im 17 who cares about my grammer. im probably about 14-15% body fat and im just looking for advice.

Apparently not you. Arent you taking the SAT’s soon? Have you taken them already? Honestly, you should care about your education.

Anyway, enough of the lecture. Good job on gaining weight. I guess you could post pictures so we can really tell you what to work on.

Whats your workout routine like?

i opened the thread thinking ‘this guy is probably not a hard gainer, but he might be so i’ll check it out’

you’re not a hardgainer

you’re fucking retarded

OK, I’ll bite. A quick search (via included search function at the top right of the page) turned up “The Quality Mass Diet”
http://www.T-Nation.com/readTopic.do?id=1021940

That should give you ideas for better foods to eat, though “Anything that’s not KFC and McDonalds” should be obvious. he best way I’ve found to figure out my calorie needs is to use something like Fit Day to track calories while tracking my changes in weight/measurments:

http://www.fitday.com

It’s really a matter of using the resources provided in EXCESS on this site and others to figure it out for yourself before acting like you don’t have enough info.
