Here goes, I started eating good and rich meals but I do have some problems… My stomach usually tends to be gassy during the day, something which is really annoying…
Why does it happen? and is there a way to stop it?
Thanks.
If you’ve just started eating healthy you’ll have to give your body some time to adapt. Believe it or not you do become accustomed to eating processed crap. Try adding some digestive enzymes to your food or eat some yogurt for breakfast every day. Don’t worry, eventually you’ll feel better for eating better.
yah like he said u will get use to it, trust me you will miss the moose tracks ice cream, and the lays potato chips. but jus remember your goals
I had this. Wasn’t due to adapting to good food though. Turned out I was lactose intolerant. If you’re having alot of milk, this could be a problem.

Are you drinking protein shakes? I know a few people with really bad (gassy) reactions to some of the ingredients. Might try switching brands.
If you haven’t had much fiber in your diet, then yeah, it will definitely take a while before your digestive system knows what the hell to do with broccoli and spinach. You might want to ease into a high vegetable diet by having them cooked instead of raw; digests a bit easier that way.
Thanks a lot for all of the replies and tips… I don’t think its because my body needs time to adapt because I never eat REALY bad stuff just less healthier than the whole foods…
I guess I’m lactose intolerant, I don’t drink a lot of milk only a cup or 2 per day but I do eat a lot of dairy products(cottage and other dairy stuff)
What else should I eat then? I mean eating dairy products do save a lot of time and are great source for protein…
Go see your doctor. It may be something like stomach inflammation. I complained of pretty much the same thing you are a couple of years ago and an upper G.I. (short for long medical words I don’t know how to spell- gastro intenstinal, I think) showed that I had stomach inflammation. The doc prescribed Nexium (the medicine for recurring heartburn) and the problem is solved.
May not be what you have, but I certainly wouldn’t have guessed it for myself.
I would add that if your fiber intake has increased with a healthier diet, that could also be a contributing factor.

Would that be a bad thing then or does it not matter and will go away?

NO not a bad thing. Its GOOD fiber is good cklean the old digestive tract. Will it go away each time yo take a big old dump but is replaced by eating.
What shes getting at is you have more substance in the digstive tratc fiber and water adding scale weight. Yet another reason the scale is NOT a great choice to gauge a fat loss program

I guess il go see a doctor just to be sure, and what types of food contain good fibers?
