Help me Review These Iron Woody Bands

I’ll have to pick up a band or two. Any suggestion on which one? The poundage or whatever it’s called? [/quote]

Most people would do just fine with a starter package, the first three resistance levels. You really don’t need the big ones unless you’re going to get into serious deadlifting and squatting.

Thanks!

I did the dips with the blue, light, jumpstretch bands today and thought they were great but not quite enough resistance, next time I’ll use the green.

Also, did pull-ups with the jumpstretch mini band around my neck and the dumbell on the floor. Strangley enough I felt stronger using the extra resistance than without the band.

OK–

I got my Iron Woody band starter kit Thursday, so, here’s my take.

I have no prior experience with bands. I used the red (#2) for bench press. It worked great. I did the dips and pull ups as well. Great variation.

Overall, these will be a great added tool to use in lifts. However, the things dig into my grip (the area between index finger and thumb) like nobody’s business.

Any suggestions?

I don’t use gloves.

bump.

Way to go Shurgart, always comming through where needed. I personally like the pull-up/dip idea best.

These are some nice ideas…hope this thread doesn’t die out on us.

Cool ideas with the bands, but I thought this was going to be someone asking about the side effects of taking their ZMA for the first time.
