Help and/or Advice Please!

Hello, just joined t-nation! I’m a 44yr old male at 165-170lbs 6’0. My normal weight was around 190-200lbs then got hit with Covid or whatever and it took a toll on my digestive system. Dropping weight and appetite suppressed was a huge a side effect for me. I had many procedures upper GI scopes to colonoscopy, no direct answers. I had to re-figure my whole diet. Cutting out sugar and caffeine almost completely.

So I started working out and eating as much as I can. I got a gym membership and workout an average of 3x a week. I just finished doing a run of Test Cyp at 300mgs a week for 10 weeks. I just order some Ultima NPP and dbol. Also, some Clomid. Anyone ever used Ultima? Hope, I’m not going against any thread rules, I apologize if I have. Any advice or help is greatly appreciated !!Thank you all!

I read that the lining of the gut has a large amount of the receptors that the SARS-COV2 virus uses to invade cells. The general inflammation caused by the infection can disrupt the bacteria that live in the gut and stimulate some of the GI system’s nerves.

The Mayo Clinic’s recommends the mediterranean diet with a reduction in processed foods and avoid over the counter products to treat your symptoms as this will may everything worse.

Fad and extreme diets have not been found to be helpful.

Get these GI symptoms under control, because gut health is linked to brain health.

So you just started working out and went straight to steroids? Why? You’re already battling health issues and this is your decision?

Throw said products away. Learn to train and eat.

Ditto what @blshaw said. Your first priority should be your overall health! Not worrying about taking steroids or getting big…these are all things you consider when your body is already healthy, your blood work is good (cholesterol, HDL/LDL, liver/kidney values, etc), and AFTER you have been training hard, eating plenty of quality food and consistently training usually more than just 3x a week. Taking steroids while training just that little is simply a waste.

You sound as if you want to just take some steroids and suddenly get huge. That is a terrible approach and obviously not well thought out. Your health is WAY more pressing than steroids right now. I know this is not what you wanted to hear but folks on here are pretty good about telling people the TRUTH and not just what they’d like to hear, to reassure their poor choices. You do the above and you will be thanking me and others who have said the same on this thread later.

I appreciate your feedback. I should of of explained more in detail. I got hit with Covid in early 2020 and started drastically losing weight back then. Went to different specialists for a year with no answers. Some of my doctors suggested to work on my diet, light exercise like walking, and resistance bands then moving to weights. So I started with resistance bands, walking, and trying to eat right. Moved to weights at a local gym. A close friend was doing TRT and had some extra vials and offered to me. I consulted with my primary doctor and told her what I was going to do and have been under her care the whole time. My bloodwork levels have read fine, slightly elevated, no concern from doctor. My gut biome is doing much better also. I have a personal trainer who competes at a national level in powerlifting. His daughter is about to break the women’s record in her division. So I trust his training ability. Again, thank you for your feedback.

Thank you for your advice!
