Sorry, just a lil pumped. Had a great workout this morning. Currently, I’m in the 3rd week of Waterbury Method. Today’s 10x3 exercise is DB Flat Bench, and I pumped out the 110’s for all 10 sets…I never even touched the bitches before! My bw is 175, hight 5’6".
This is no incredible feat…but a new PR that’s leaving me up on Cloud 9 all day…thought of no better place to share it than right here…Thanks T-Nation!
son of a bitch…I accidentally posted the last post (by Wahoo86) on a computer @ work, and was logged on under my buddies T-Nation account! shit…anyways…i’m still pumped, and I’m still replaying the reel of those 110’s flying off my chest…shweet.

Hey, it’s good you have somebody to ‘talk shop’ with at work or anywhere really. I love this shit, but sadly, nobody else I know is into it so I never get to talk about it.

Yea I work out with shortworkoutguy (this is actually Wahoo talking) he is basicaly my trainer. Before I have never been able to stick to a regimen but now I have gained 15 pounds since november and its all thanks to him!!
I start with the Db’s on the floor outside of each of my feet running parallel with my feet. It’s sort of an accelerated deadlift to get the butt end of the db onto my thigh, then I just sit back on the bench, using the momentum of the deadlift motion…just make sure to have the bench stable behind you.
Having a partner to hand it off to you works, as well
Im at the same DB weight, and I deadlift them up. And when im standing with the DBs on the side, i just kinda swing it infront of me, so it is infront of my laps - then i sit down
I don’t do db’s anymore since feels bit awkward as I start using the heavy ones, also I tend to have to drop it and that doesn’t make the people at my gym very happy.
