You are looking ridiculous in these pics HT, and I mean that in the most positive way possible. Great work.
thanks because i feel (except maybe the leg and back pic) i really look “ridiculous” not in the good way, posing in my underwear with my current bf levels. it was very very hard for me to post these. really.

To be honest, I kinda assumed something was going on … You’ve brought up your wife and her perception of you at least a dozen times on this thread alone. Not including all the times you posted about how your wife wished you looked better etc etc etc on several other threads. Not to mention it doesn’t seem like she’s snapping your pictures or helping around in the meal prep etc etc etc.
Look man, in times like this, a man may need more validation than others, so its ok. Just keep your chin up and avoid drowning your sorrows in booze, trust me. Disregard the peanut gallery and focus on those who’re trying to help you.

thanks so much for the support, it means a lot.
my wife has been great, she IS helping with meal prep some, and she is really liking the trimmer me, but she has stated she does not want me to go below 200lbs, i have pushed her and she now is saying 190 is ok. i m not sure how i will look at 190, if i will be happy with that or not, but she thinks i am "skinny " now, and yesterday some of her family came into town, first time some of them have seen my in nearly a year, and they were SHOCKED at the weight loss, they were referring to me as “skinny” too, and said i looked good, etc so that felt good to hear, and motivates me to stay the course.

Hey HT even though I am a young guy at 26 I have already gone through those problems myself and I’ll start by saying hopefully your marriage is fixable but mine wasn’t… Mine was the biggest mental stress you could imagine, from her not liking my body to her asking my was I trying to lose weight so I could leave her, everyday was a constant mental grind just to get through the day… So I am going to say, once your mind is set free you will feel so much better, if that is what needs to happen… Good luck for you man!
wow, isnt that thwe case uusually, you start to try to look better, and they (you woman) thinks you are trying to look good for somebody else, or get self concious about their own apperance, and honestly, i like my wifes curves, she loods better a little heavier and much more fun for me in the sack when she is nice and thick.
she still is uncomfortable with me losing so much weight, when she still thinks she is “fat”
i know what you mean big man.
Hey HT this is a classic example of you have to do you and she has to do her. To make her more comfortable in her skin you need to make sure you are speaking her language. She doesnt understand what you are doing, meaning you all have not communicated about it enough. She maybe helping in your meal prep but she doesnt get what you are doing and is insecure with herself. You have to build up her self confidence. A book that worked for my wife and I is “The Five Love Languages” its avaiable on amazon. Its a good read and makes you think about your own actions and how they are percieved by others. The more confident she is the mroe confident in yourself you will be.
By the way you are looking great man!

The first step is being honest with yourself.
Anyone can post tons “magic” photos of themselves in their best pose with the best lighting and a massive pump but what good will that do?
Good on ya for posting what you did.
Obviously you have fat to lose but you have muscle, you have good shape and your V will be insane when you are lean.
Keep it up.
Random question:
Did you have a battle with cancer by any chance?
I could have sworn I read something about that some point.
???no. i have had elbow, neck, and knee surgery, and need bilateral wrist and other knee surgery, hopefully this summer.

Okay, feel free to carry on now. This has been unbolded. Jeesh.
HT,
Great progress man.
Keep in mind, we are people who do not strive to look or perform “ok” or even “alright.”
Our standards are higher.

YES!!! i hae to nearly 1.5 hour workouts, hard to get motivated to go through a vomit inducing 1 plus hour workout! not when i am used to training one or two movements 5-6 days a week, sometimes 2 times a day, for 20-40 minutes. i love to do something every day.
While we probably aren’t going to get it down to 1-2 movements because of the pre-exhaust circuits, it will probably drop them to 45-60 mintues tops.

Fucking hell, your back’s width!!! Wow.
Looks like your legs are leaning out nicely. Keep up the good work, HT.
thanks again everybody for the kind words and support.
Back and legs are beastly HT!
It’s easy for someone to post before and after pics after the transformation is complete because you already have the results to show the contrast. There’s no longer any shame to be felt because the former condition is gone. It’s not easy to throw pics up from the very start like you are doing. That takes some courage. Let your disdain of these images drive you to push through workouts and meals every day.
You’re a tank man. You WILL look awesome when this is all said and done if you stick to the plan laid out for you. Take it a day at a time. Hell, take it one meal and one workout at a time. Each one is a step toward achieving your goal.

It’s like trying to grow your hair out, but you have to go through that “awkward hair stage”…

Hey! Don’t pick on my jokes while ignoring my encouraging post, brah.
I know it’s early n not Sunday like agreed. I know lighting/pose/timing bs!
Too bad. I finally made it consistently under 205lbs. 204.4. This was my goal when I started this journey on my own a few months ago. Now I have some professional help and modified those goals some. Bit no way I was not going to pop a pic at this for me milestone weight. Thanks for indulging
I still news lots of work. Noticing lots of loose skin and stretch-marks around my belly.
If you’re still having issues with the food intake (and it sounds like you are), you might want to consider increasing your Zinc intake. Chris Shugart suggested that to me in the LiveSpill awhile ago, and I’ll say it definitely helped. Obviously run this by zraw first, but it’s an idea.
