No I’ve kinda forgotten about it for the last few weeks. I’m gonna get back on the train though. It’s just an overall great back accessory. With that much volume and frequency you end up keeping your back in great shape for support on bench and strength on deads and never have to worry about it.

Thanks man! Bench is stalling, but deadlift and squat are both going up so I’m in good spirits. Usually one or two things will be improving while a couple other things are plateaued, but I certainly can’t complain about how the training is going at the moment!

Was a bit of a struggle today. Right hip didn’t feel normal, right glute didn’t feel normal, right knee didn’t feel normal. Had to really focus on form or I felt like I woulda snapped all kinds of shit up. Not sure if it was from the one front squat I did the day before (lol) or just cumulative stress on the joints from my wide as fuck stance for which Smolov was not designed.

Squats were massively better than last time. Hip and glute felt much better; knee was perfectly fine. I had to stop being quite so flippant about Smolov lol. Wearing my knee sleeves helped quite a bit. With the amount of rest time I sometimes need between the sets it makes a big difference in keeping the joints warm.
