Have to second that. Presses, flys, and pushups. Nothing seems to help me increase muscle there.

My calves are growth-proof. Anybody know where a guy might find some synthol really cheap?
You dont need that shit, just duct tape a couple of hamburgers to your calves, looks great in pants…beware of onlookers if you wear shorts though!

Dogs could be a problem too.

But you’re supposed to put it in the front of your pants, not the back…
My forearms for sure.
I have the wrists of an 8 year old girl. While my forearms are strong, they are not even close (proportionally) size wise to my upper arms.
In my case, I guess is lats.
It just looks weird…decent chest & shoulders, big traps, legs, glutes & lower back, long arms…and ZERO lats!

Amen. I have the same problem. Also my calves are just as bad.
Traps and chest for me.
Lats, calves.
I had a shoulder injury when I was 18 and I couldn’t lift my arm above my shoulder. I went to a neurologist and he said “it’ll go away”.
I said: “Can I do rehab?”
and he said: “Rehab is for old ladies.” (I paraphrase.)
I did a lot of shoulder work after that. After about six months, I got most of my ROM back, and seven years later, my strength levels are okay. My left lat is normal, but my right lat is smaller. The command to “flex” won’t fire the muscle as easily. This makes my right trap bigger to compensate.
I’m certainly never going to win any BB competitions.

i hate this muscle, i had a muscle unbalance and this lil guy caused alot of pain
Try and get your pubococcygeus muscle to hypertrophy 8)
Biceps. My forearms has about the same size as my upper arms.
I keep working my love muscle on a daily basis, but it’s my right forearm that keeps getting bigger.
Go figure.

What muscle is that??
It’s crazy that no one has said quads.

You need to become ambidextrous (like me) and get those forearms equal.

Quads are usually easy, it’s hams that are harder.

The infraspinatus is part of your back, between the lower trap and teres minor and teres major.

I would have to say wide lats. Seems to me there’s no guys w/ any “wide” backs out & about nowadays. Why is this?
How about the rest of you? Hardest muscle to build up?[/quote]
I think that WIDE lats got into our brain because a few of the early great bodybuilders (Sergio for one) had them and it set a standard. Lat width has no function though and many people are strong chinners without lats.
Anyway, that’s my justification-I have a hard time getting the right feel on lat exercises. Same for side delts. Lateral raises just never felt right.
BUT: Calves are easy as hell and so are rear delts with the right exercise.
i would have to say the hardest muscle to build would have to be the whole shoulder area
