Thanks Joe. I don’t like to waste too much energy on warm-ups and my next step would be to do 405 between 315 and 500 but doing the 315 for 5 seems to be getting me ready pretty well. I think when add another 15-20 lbs I will add the 405 as a warm up.

All went well besides nagging right shoulder discomfort. I think I could have knocked out the shoulder twinge but I didn’t do any mobility work before lifting so now it’s off to tons of rolling and electro stimulation.

kpsnap-I don’t even think about the weight(maybe that helps). Mostly I concentrate on making sure my body is warmed up and ready to fire.

This evening the lifting went well although my right trap and delt are still giving me some discomfort. I am looking forward to ending this heavy wave(3 weeks of lifting) and doing a lighter week of lifting next week.

Feeling a bunch of tension built up in my hip flexors and my hammies are as tight as steel cord. Lots of mobility work to ensue. These raw pause squats leave me with aching intercostals, obliques, and give my abs a thrashing as well. Not using a belt is refreshingly harsh on the stabilizers around the mid section.
That 504 is gonna slowly turn into a 525…then 550… 575 before we even realize it lol

Not sure how you do an over 500 pound ATG paused squat with tight hamstrings then again I don’t know how to do that with hamstrings feeling great either. Nice work GV.
