nice work mang
I just saw the mention of the baby shower. Did you measure your T levels before and after? are you hosting tea parties anytime soon? Estrogen a little high? Sorry, couldn’t help myself. Not like I don’t end up in those situations myself.
Never mention the T sapping effect of baby showers here ever again. I visit this log to get a little motivated, and find nothing but dirty diapers.
I need a cigar.
GV - when do you think you can trust the bicep again?
Thanks fellas. My bicep is getting stronger all the time as well as the right side of my upper body. I am almost back to full strength in my right arm following the biceps tear. I expect this year to be a break through for me in recovering all my upper body strength and maybe slightly surpassing old PR numbers.
We’re done having babies so no more baby showers or testosterone lowering events. The baby is due in the next 6 weeks or so and that will add challenges but hopefully it will help me concentrate my limited free time into iron busting lifting.
GV, this log is pretty motivating. Where in FL are you? It appears that you train alone.
Thanks hawkcapt1912. I live in Orlando, Florida and I train alone in my garage. Although I admit I blast rock while I lift so that’s somewhat like having a training partner.
Awesome lifting last night. Felt great and had plenty of energy once I got going.

Felt extremely large and strong following this lifting session. I am taking Bulbine Natalensis made by SNS and this is the best natural supplement I have ever taken. On the Bulbine Natalensis I am getting stronger, have better endurance, and all body issues are great. I am also stacking Agmatine, Bulgarian Tribulus, and Test Powder by USP which add up to the best testosterone effect I’ve had since using prohormones a few years ago. I think the combination of stuff I am taking now is way better and no PCT needed, no ill affects on energy, no libido shriking, and no testicular effect accept to make me horny all the time. Things are looking up.
Tonight I was a fat tub-O-lard so this was all I could manage:
T-Handle Swings:
100 lbs x 2 x 25

Hips feeling taxed after the zercher squats and the standing crunches were like slugging through the mud. On to the next one.
Still feeling like a blubbery jelly roll and last nights leg and back/hip work really have me feeling the DOMS today. Anyway, got in a good hour of fast moving lifts.

Felt great by the middle of the work out and got out of the glut of heavy tired muscles. Feeling great after finishing strong but I bet Superbowl Sunday is going to be a tired, slow pizza and ice cream fat fun day.
You are moving piles of weight, great work in here.
Thanks Jack for checking in. I want my bench back so bad and now it’s starting to move north so that’s good and I want more. I’m going to hit
300 lbs soon and keep pushing till I’m past 400; hope I make it this year.
I was slogging though mud again this evening before I got started but once I began squatting my energy changed to high output.

Great night and I got the squat to a legal depth which felt really good. Everything went well tonight which I think is kind of odd but I’m happy with it.
Yesterday I felt like Monday’s lifting had almost strained every fiber of my body. My ears hurt. Today was much better so the lifting continues.

Felt great tonight but the PRs were taxing. I think I may have another 5 pounds to jump next week on the benching for new PRs.
ok is this the place? I dont understand this thread stuff? can anyone just start a topic?
how?
so question…I did smolov…gained 75lbs. 300lbs full low squat. then I went directly into super squat…started at 215…now at 245…its hard…2minutes 30 seconds! My arms and wrists get numb.
How long do you think I can keep it up? Im doing it every 4th day. I feel like after this session I should take a week or 2 and just do a few low reps with higher weight. I do tired flips and kettlebells swings the 2 days between the squats.
What do you think? thanks
are you trying to just keep getting bigger and stronger??
Huge safety bar squat.
steviebeast, click the “post new” button to start your own thread. Anybody can start one.
Wow, great work in here. I like your programming for Westside.
james
@steviebeast-giterdone is right about starting your own thread. Yes, I’m always working to get stronger but not necessarily bigger. You should do the SuperSquat program as it is laid out, which means 5lbs heavier every lift day on the squats, 3 days a week, for 6 weeks. I experienced the same things when doing SuperSquats as you have: Arms and wrists go numb, feels like my body is going to disintegrate under squat bar, my back is on fire and lungs are on fire, etc. Work through it.
@Atypical1 and giterdone-Thanks for the props.
